Jodha is shown as a devotee of Krishna. How False! She converted to Islam when married Akbar. She is mentioned as Mariam-uz-Zamani in historical texts.

it is raga Yaman and good orchestration! Ektara like sound of the metronome is VERY apt he also has very cleverly used the strings cymbals and cascading synthesizers to very good effect

It is actually brilliant lyrics like a Meera Bhajan! actually Meera was a contemporary! It is the Sad lament of a GOPIKA or Radha who is missing Krishna and pines for a reunion! Sufis sang similar ballads!

I don't think I can even say how much I love this scene! Probably the best scene out of any movie I have ever seen. There was barely any dialogue, yet I understood everything conveyed perfectly. Such wonderful acting. I wish they did more movies together!!!!!

Akbar was not this good looking neither was jodha. Actually a lot of historian are still trying to find who exactly was jodhabai. Akbar was never a warrior he never fought a single war himself. He was famous as he was a great ruler and good diplomat. Acc to some historians it was a business deal and had nothing to do with love. some say jodhabai didnt exist and was actually name given to his daughter in law. this movie was fiction.
