Thats the problem with bike engines, let alone turbo bike engines. Try to get off the line at anything below 4000 rpm, and you will stall out. No bottom end torque/hp. Launch much over that and you sit there and spin your tires into smokey oblivion. Its a fine line to find that magic moment and launch just right.
@urveen Dont forget, he's still running a bike transmission and clutch built for moving one wheel and 800lbs or so. In a car, Launch Control or even an anti-lag system will quickly result in a toasty clutch pack or chewed up gears. Once you rolling, Hammer down! But off the line... Not so much.

@pegalis Or buy an EMS with Launch Control and wire up a wheel speed sensor and switch on the dash when you want to get away fast!
