  • just got this ... its a gem

  • i love ppm but the beginning was awfully corny

  • Thx for uploading. I have the DVD, neverhtheless it is great to watch it when I am traveling. PPM were the best. We desperately need more people like them. I envy their idealism. It is great to do something so positive in your life as singing these songs and making people happy.

American folk helped calm the spirits.

    R.I.P. Mary! We miss you.

  • instead of singing mary had a little lamb, lets sing

"Mary sang so many songs, many songs, many song! Mary sang so many songs, whose voice was an amazing gift"

  • Peter,Paul and Mary - never see their like again. Thanks for the happiness you brought me.

  • Thanks so much to the poster, you've made my day. I've been feeling nostalgic for the 60's, the last decade that was idealistic, not cynical. Where can you find a female singer today who's not using her sexuality to sell her gig. Just sheer talent and good vibes. RIP Mary.

  • Mary's excessive weight was due primarily to a foot condition and the steroid treatments she was on - for her cancer. Smoking didn't help.. but weight loss wasn't her biggest health issue.

  • My dad cried when she died, and he NEVER cries. I loved her too. Rest in Peace you great, beautiful, soul.

  • Mary passed away from the effects of chemotherapy that damaged her lungs from the treatment of leukemia....before that yes she was ill, she had lupus and the medication that she was on for that caused her to put on weight-Mary had a lot of weight problems but despite that she kept "carrying it on". May she R.I.P. and will never be forgotten.

  • Exceptional! THANK you~ There were never any better than Peter, Paul, and Mary.. The Weavers, Pete Seeger.. John Sabastian.. the whole lot of them! This special is on right now, and of course I'm watching, reveling in every moment~ Thank you again!

Favoriting, and saving to Magnifique Musique!:)

  • Thanks much for posting this. PP&M changed many lives, including mine. RIP, Mary, you were my goddess.

  • my fav

  • R.I.P. sweet Mary.

  • R.I.P. sweet voice, thanks for the melodies.

  • Mary put on weight due to having to take I believe cortisone type tablets for her back which in turn put on the weight. She has lost all that weight. She is also now permanently on oxygen due to her lung condition. Mary Travers, along with Joan Baez are my greatest inspiration.

  • Mary did smoke. I think that's what later on gave her that raspy voice. I met her in person, actually all three of them. They are as true and genuine as their songs and their message. I am Happy that Mary is releived from pain, but I am saddened by P &P's loss and the emptyness they are feeling now. RIP My Dear Lady.

    E!

  • My previous comment didn't turn up.Mary Travers over the last few years has had leukemia and went thru chemo and radiotherapy which left her lungs permanently damaged. She performs with the boys when she is well enough in a wheel chair. She has also had several back surgeries-she's a fighter

  • Just one thing further to my previous post I adore Mary Travers and so far as I know she does not smoke.

  • Oh yeah, she smoked.

  • Great upload! Where is part 2-3-4...etc?

I really like PP&M, but I feel sad for Mary's sake, she is obviously ill and in bad condition. I hope her condition will improve..she must loose weight! Probably too much smoking :-( Ah..it's so sad.

  • Glad you enjoy it :) I will upload the rest soon it just takes so long to upload these huge chunks!
