  • Linda música..

  • WHO'S THE BLACK SISTER SHAKING ON TIME TO THIS BEAUTIFUL SONG!!! LOVE THE MOVE!!!!!

  • It´s a great song, I wish to listen every day of my life!!

  • Gino is soooooooo sexy

  • I have followed (not stalked) Gino since 1973...no wonder he does not move during this video...The man was sexy and has an amazing voice....but....he has nooooooooooooooo rythum...

  • That's an awesome 'fro!

  • I can't watch a Gino Vanellli video without thinking of that SCTV sketch.

  • not taking anything away from the song, but the black girl on the end looks very sexy the way she swings her hips to the beat of the song.....

  • @smush48 I agree, she does have nice hips

  • Great song. Nothing like reliving memories.

  • @opensecondary Yep, same here. Time marches forward, but it's nice to look back every now and again.

  • rock the elevator music...endemic

  • I am lost...living inside myself....living inside this shell...living outside your love

I am lost...somewhere in my own dreams....afraid of what life really means

    living without your love.

Yep, that sums up my life, without God!

  • This song sums up what my life has been!

  • True the 80,s the greatest time to grow up in great music great experiences in relationships, this is when music really had meaning it will live on forever .

  • Proud to be Canadian when i see & hear a great talent like Mr Vanelli.

  • I just love when a man can sing about love....it's poetry in motion <3

  • My goodness! I get speechless, with my mouth wide open when I hear this!

What a great and powerful voice! Awesome! Beautiful music!

Gino Vanneli, the great singer who could conquer hearts with the power of his voice and music. No gym or workout needed! Just the natural divine given gifts!! Such a talented human being!!!

  • @2:41- kinda looks like Richard Marx

  • I'm a guy and love this song since my early teens when it came out...but felt uncomfortable listening where other teen guys could hear it. :D

  • ah yes the afro mullet, lol. You can say what u want about the hair and the clothes of the era, but never at any time in my humble opinion has music been so beautiful.

  • Strange... this is so GAY but yet... great!

  • One of my faves from a dreamy man with a message! On any day listening to him lifts me....thanks Gino, you're a prince among singers! The 80's were a great time for meaningful music.....there were actual words/verses/bridges not repetitious nonsensical drivel. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate a good beat like anybody else but if the music doesn't move you to any heights what's the point of it?

  • in 1981 i was in the 1st grade of junior high. I was also lucky to grow up in the 80's movies, food were cheap. music scenes were great.the poor thing was there was no you tube yet. LOL

  • LOVE THIS FIRME ROLA RIGHT HERE

    AND HE'S HOT TOO MHM<33

  • it's too bad we have to get old

  • Dame right ! I grown, up to both those era's ! 70's, 80's the fall of rael music! I seen . Gino in 75, in Santa monica, Civic! talk about underrated, talent, these, days are no comparison tfo the days, of romantic, rock, progressive , note's of time indifinte! I know that i was , and now still am , because i can go back in time ! to any era, that i lived and felt, ! love way, that this all unfolder ! we are all Lucky! to be in this time ! of struggle , freedom, and justice, love in never out.

  • NO.. I was luckier to have grown up in the 70s!!

  • First trax off k-tels High Voltage compilation. Good times indeed.

  • and fine as fuck!

  • great song!

  • Damn, that hair. He'd had made a boss Louis XIV in a TV biopic.

  • One of the greatest I so love the 70's and 80's best music every....Do not understand what these people listen to today oh yeah wait remakes just different version

  • Wonder what has become of Gino's brother (Joe) who is playing the white grand piano in this video. I understand he was Gino's composing partner for most of the major hits.

  • Such a sad but great song. Brings back bittersweet memories of 1981 in high school.

  • Gino hit #6 in Billboard, 5-30-81. He had a Christian hit, here in the States. God bless ya, brother Gino! Thanx, ticfiend, for postin' it.

  • tema internacional da tele novela agua viv

  • tema internacional da tele novela agua viva

  • Fantastic Song and singer.....It gives me early 80's goosebumps.

  • lovely song...

  • sorry I cant get past the hair

  • @aleutian1 his hair was kinda dpoe

  • @yungsandifer I was 'blessed' with Gino V. hair too! LOL

  • God times, beautiful days

  • Useless trivia: This was the biggest US hit of May 1981 not to chart across the Atlantic. So what were the British listening to instead? Look up Stand and Deliver by Adam and the Ants, which failed to chart in the States at the same time.

  • @captainbeecher TRex was a smash in the UK and somewhat bombed in the US. I know what you mean.

  • @cosmo1444 that's wild! I use to sing in a Band called Spring High at Spiro's. It was a great band with horns and all. It rocked! Best time of my life! Didn't know it then but I do now,we did awesome songs! I even sung Brother To Brother by Gino! Vallie

  • QUE SAUDADES,,,DAQUELE TEMPO ROMÂNTICO...ANOS 80" ESSA MÚSICA ME LEMBRA AQUELAS TARDES MARAVILHOSAS E INSOLARADAS DAQUELE TEMPO...

  • This song featured in a 80` tv serie??

  • I use to sing your songs Gino in Houston,Texas! Thx,@spirithunter2

  • @VallieRojas

Oh man, what a coincidence! I live in NJ now, born and raised in Houston, and would you believe he played at the Hyatt Regency Hotel restaurant one night? I must have been 10 years old, wearing a maxi dress, drueling over this gorgeous man's chest hairs! Yeah baby!

  • TOTALLY AWSOME =)

  • NOW THIS IS VERY GOOD MUSIC TO MAKE LOVE TO LOL

  • Great song, singer! I love this guy! This song is written great, played awesome, and sang great!

  • Great song, singer! I love this guy!

  • This sounds like" After the love Has Gone" by Earth, Wind & Fire! I'm not hating on Gino though, I love him!

  • @tubebitch12 Yep, it's pretty much "After the Love Is Gone" played in a minor key with different lyrics. But still, "Living Inside Myself" is great song. Gino is an amazing vocalist!

  • @BoredVAChick, dang. It is! who wrote which first?

  • @AnoukaKC Earth Wind and Fire's song was released in the late 70s. Gino's song came out in '80-'81-ish. Both are amazing songs, but Gino has a much more powerful singing voice.

  • @wellyes So what if somebody else thought this song sounded like another one! Dude, you're entitled to disagree, but that comment makes you look like an asshole who insults others to feel better.

  • I love this song so much! I miss this kind of music. This is what real music is. I can't even turn the radio on anymore because the music these days is really terrible.

  • ew I remember anytime this would come on Casey Kasem or some thing I would sing this to the tops of my lungs LMAO

  • Great song, muita linda essa música também, Gino Rullesz

  • Wow, look at Gino in his prime.

  • F-ing amazing!

  • As I said someplace else, Gino was often looked at as just a heartthrob, a pretty boy, but he was/is so much mire. The musicians/songwriters I played/wrote with in the UK just adored him as a real pro's pro, a musician who really knew what sounds good. Joe does some amazing work on the keys, and he always had killer drummers in back of him. And those chord changes are just HOLY.

  • grande et belle musique

  • Not to cast a pall over all this praise, but from the back he looks like Angela Davis.

  • @Alikah1 I spit out my coffee laughing over that!

  • @beveridgebackbeat Easily avoidable: Drink tea!

  • It's nice to look at the women in the background and say to myself, "They have such beautiful voices" as opposed to looking at their bodies...something that can't be said nowadays.

  • Gino's operatic voice along with elaborate arrangements and background vocals are timeless.

  • I'll say it again, go to the Canada Walk of Fame web page and nominate him for 2011

  • He is Great! His songs bring so many nice memories back to me when I was dating my husband. We are still together almost 30 years and just as in love. Thank you for the beautiful songs

  • someone needs to start a GV fan group on YT - I'll join

  • 29 disliking idiots!!

  • @smokingolejerry - it's hard to believe that there are 29 people in the world that wouldn't love this song. - you're right - they are idiots

  • 29 folks are livin' outside themselves. Billboard's #34 hit of '81. God bless ya, brother Gino. Hugs to ya!

  • I was all of 7 years old when this was released; it always made me stop and listen even though I had no idea what the lyrics meant. I just loved his voice. It was how I thought a man should sound when he sings. Still love it as an adult.

  • omg I remember singin this into my tape deck n recordin it when I little WTH was wrong with me LMAO!

  • Dig those moves his background singers are pulling!

  • This was one of his best songs... (I like ALL of them, check out some of his other songs on YouTube)

  • his voice is so sexy and just touches you

  • @malissasweety Yes, I feel absolutely no sexual attraction for him, but his voice IS rather sexy... And I LOVE the "bridge" in this song, too... My fave is proably "Just a Motion Away", though as a kid, I thout he sang "It's Just Emotional Way"... :-)

  • GINO" YOUR VOICE IS ALMOST AS AMAZING AS YOUR HAIR.

  • Feel It...

  • The audio in this video is terrible. Check out the HQ link above the comment box for a much better version!

  • Wow that voice!!

  • Comment removed

  • In 1981 I was in 6th grade and loving this song. I was so damn lucky to grow up in the 80's! What a great decade of tunes! Easily a great decade for great music.

The 80's will always live forever!

  • @wickedout2010 - I was 15 and graduating from high school in Los Angeles, CA... and it was amazing. This song was played for Luke and Laura on General Hospital and I thought, "wow, it is the most beautiful time ever." The 70's and the 80's were the BEST times EVER! 2000 - 2010 SUCKED... the worse of times for me. This song very uplifting!

  • @wickedout2010 Yep, I was about your age too in the summer of 1981 about to enter the 7th grade. My god the summer of 81 had SO many great songs. Not enough space to list them all here of course, but "endless love", "Bette Davis Eyes", Beatles Medly by stars on 45, "how bout us", "jessies girl", "urgent", theme from greatest american hero.........holy shit there were more great songs from that summer ALONE than the entire decade of the 90s or 2000's!!!

  • @rawn4203--wow, both you and wickedout mirrored my own pre-teen experience except I was going into 8th grade. The summer of 1981 was amazing in so many ways. It was the music (the hits you mentioned plus Air Supply, Kenny Rogers, Styx, Reo Speedwagon), movies (Raiders of the L. Art, History of The World), arcade video games (Pac-Man), discovering girls (well, for me, at least) and just hanging out with friends without all the pretensions and insecurities of today. So happy to be an 80s kid!

  • superb

  • this is for my brother kippy , west philly 60th Market

  • One of my favorite songs of all time. Is anyone, other than I, familiar with Gino's recording of "Love Of My Life"? Don't see it on YouTube. I have it on a DJ 45 and wish I knew how to post it with some kind of visual. The song reminds me a bit of the theme from the old TV show "Moonlighting". A really powerful song, especially if you turn it up loud; lots of good drumming in it.

  • Beautiful song!!!!

  • One of the most beautiful songs ever written! I'd hear this on the radio as a kid and literally stop what I was doing to listen. (I still do when I hear it.)

  • I can listen to this song all night!!!! He's great!!!! I wonder why he never really became famous,. His voice was the best.

  • Thank god Herb Alpert recognized Gino Vannelli's amazing talent and signed him just as he was about to give up on a singing career. This man's voice is astonishing, not to mention his writing ability. His songs are stellar, they are unique -- no cover of his songs could ever compare to the originals. Gino's voice and the lyrics are powerful and passionate. Thank you Gino for many year of wonderful songs. :)

  • @redrosestoo I never knew that! Some of the best people out there are the ones that are struggling and I share your sentiment about Herb Alpert. What chance would Gino have had in this day of instant pop star? I wonder.

  • @redrosestoo And thank God Gino, and Joe were so persistent to get Herb Albert's attention!!!!

  • @redrosestoo Wow I did not know that. I am glad Herb Alpert gave him a shot. Love his music.

  • @redrosestoo Very well said! You took the words right out of my mouth.

  • @redrosestoo Amen honey.

  • Incredible romantic, and sexy.

    Oh, yeah, the song too.

  • he has a beautiful voice

  • Gino certainly is the classic GINO! LOL

  • I am lost

    Living inside myself

    Living inside this shell

  • This song got me through a tough time in my life I love this song!!

  • @gordyfri So sorry about your mom. Take care of urself and remember the good times!

  • @gordyfri I feel you, gordy. I just lost my mom last week, and I'm spiraling into a deep depression I doubt I'll be able to get out of. My mom was my rock, my life, my friend, and I don't know how I'll survive without her. I feel your pain, and I hope things get better for you.

  • great song

  • nice piano in this. Strong vocals. Good counter melody in the chorus.

  • More tonsils shot closeups please, like 1:45

  • @yuritim Yeah, really. Gino does have nice teeth.

  • we had a local station and legendary DJ who for years played this during the 8-12 PM Pillow Talk hours -- great -----Thanks for the video!

  • feel sorry for the boys in the early 80's... no one could compete with that hair shadow thing

  • How comes Men today don't/can't sing like Gino? I wonder. I am sure there are some talented men with strong voices but they're just not on the radio.

  • @robbiesyohn .. theres a simple answer to that... saturation of the sheer NUMBERS of artists that have bypassed the record companies and are instead doing things independently. Another and VERY vital fact of life in the field of music and music artists. TALENT by itself? has very little to do with the success factor. Its a combination of right place right and time and most important of all..... destiny. ... Nicola~

  • classic!!!

  • Where is Gino Vanelli today?

  • @earthalien77 have no freakin' idea

  • Comment removed

  • My women and I of 35 years always listened to this great voice and bought all of his albums..Great voice he has.

  • Just imagine how many women this stud nailed back in his prime during the 70's when AIDS did not exsist. He could probably even rival Gene Simmonds in that department.

  • @hdf503 - oh please, give us a break man.

  • Comment removed

  • I remember a radio host in NYC making a joke about this song when it first came out. He said "I was once trapped inside my own pancreas". Ha, Ha Ha!

  • WOW LOOK AT ALL THAT HAIR!

  • EVERYTHING about Gino Vanelli is DE-LIGHT-FUL!

  • @SingerForLife3000 Yup!!!

  • This is a very good song.

  • Love it gino <3

  • A canção é linda, embora triste...

  • vivrai sempre nel mio cuore...dentro me...dentro ogni sorriso, ogni lacrima, ogni sogno mai realizzato...

  • thank you.

  • Great song and artist. Powerful singing. Thanks for posting it.

  • what a beautiful song

  • class

  • This song is delicious

  • I had (access) to the Gino Vanelli 8 track cassette and now thinking back, those songs were the bomb. Quality wise, it was quite impressive for tape. This compressed online version doesn't do it justice, it was very well crafted.

  • This is the Gino Vanelli That I know with his Long Curly Hair. Singing those Awesome Songs with his Voice strong enough to melt most of the Female Population. Not his later songs about the Music and not his Voice.
