Cool, now not only can you not understand anybody, but they sound like that same voice that you hear in every single untranslated anime. I don't get it. Whats so good about japanese voices over english voices? People just say "they sound bad" but that doesn't explain a dang thing, they never say why or how. I would on the other hand like to add my own custom sounds to change it up (like make the monk sound like captain falcon for example) but simply changing the translation? Whats the point?

I think the point is they can do whatever they want without giving a shit what other people think. Undubbing this game isn't my thing, since I'd like to understand what they're talking about but why should we care if they want to undub it? They're not hurting anybody or doing anything wrong.

@xIchipoo Simply because you can do it is not a reason, least not a reason worth respecting let alone taking seriously. I'm just curious because A LOT of people do it and never say how its better than the english voiceovers specifically. Perhaps I'm being a little naive to actually expect a worthy answer to my curiosities though, I tend to forget how questioning other people about why they do things in games was such a breach of privacy, sheesh.

@caslevaniaROCKS some of the english voice acting sounds terrible if you havent noticed, but then, some people just have different opinions on the voice acting. Like me, i never play mage with english voice pack

How does the .bat file work tried to run it without running DFO and it ends up working for a few seconds and then it dies. Is that normal? and i haven't been able to get voices to work for some reason. Copied everything DFOsource said and im still in a slump got any advice?

@Hoshinosenshi you just download the jap voice pack, then make 2 bats (unless you didnt download it) and the folder name at the end cannot be the same as the one in the actual dfo folder, so rename it, then open the bat file that changes original char voice folder into jap voice folder so that it renames it, and when your done playing, use the revert back to normal bat file.

Wish i had a way of getting her face sprite, but it used to be dark elf sexy expression.

Like....her eyes were refined and almost sadistic or maybe thats just my imagination. They also smudged out the nipple points on her dress that used to be clearly visible if you looked.
