those are kaos pads....you can buy ém in any instrument store....they are often used in noise/experimental electronic stuff....a little expensive but also a little fun, though it might be seen as a too easy solution...

those are not kaos pads ive seen and used kaos pads the controllers hes using are responding to the position of his hands in the 3D space above what looks to be sphereical control surfaces on the 2 controllers, not a flat x/y control surface

ive actually seen mike patton use something very similar when he did his hemopheliac act with iku mori and john zorn i asked what it was and he told me but i forgot the name of it before i could look it up these however are very different in design but the same in functionality and interface

ahhh ok... but i really think i looked like kaospads...but sounds like you are even more into it than me...soo...well, i've just tried some kaos pad that looked extremly familiar to those haino uses...but yeah, the thing with x/y..hmm the one i used( i think) was also 3-d....well thanks anyway!!

i think Keiji's set from this night, is one of the best noise sets, i've ever heard...

what are those controllers he's using with his hands? i've seen similar things, but not the ones he's using. intersting gear. looks like a lot of fun to play with...
