Hey i just bought this game after completing ff 13. I'm a bit confused, cos when you gain exp and level up, you don't increase attributes or use them on your character. It just says your a higher level. Can someone tell me what the benefits of levelling up are or if i need to do something when i level up like with the crystarium in ff 13. Thanks in advance.

The only possible way I think this is possible, is if you had leveled up one character to max and kept cloud and tifa dead til you got to the boss. then you probably had to make sure if these characters were seperated you have to have that one character keep up with both cloud and tifa, because eventually cloud is left behind in north crater and tifa is getting executed. Mainly i think you use Barret. But that would be time consuming. so why would I wanna go through the effort.

Go to a website called Gamefaqs, they have walkthroughs teaching you how to do it. It's extremely difficult but completely possible.

@SnakZ Oh sorry I misunderstood. There is no level cap. The enemies have set levels already so no matter what level you face them they will always remain at that same set level. I'm guessing he probably weakened Jenova with Yuffie to the point that even a level 8 could kill it in one hit or something like that.

@SuperTerran123 Not exactly. When they're KO'd, they don't gain a thing because it's unfair like that. So, if you have a weak character that always dies in battle, it's always gonna KO in boss fights, thus, gaining no experience. Buuut, if you manage to keep it alive, it'll gain some.
