I have never heared someone use so many words to say so little.
and yes, of course Buckminster Fuller coined the word "synergy" meaning a joining of forces to create a greater combined output to their individual input.
you could say a good song is a synergy of chords and melody, etc...
There is probably one person who understands the harmonic code better than anyone alive, and that is Robert Ross. You can't just listen to a few minutes of one of his YouTube presentations to completely understand everything he is revealing. Like anything substantial, it takes an attention span and interest that has depth and patience. If so, this study greatly pays off in myriad practical ways for performers and composers, rather than being a purely historical intellectual inquiry.
Even with an understanding through words and intellect, I'v still found it difficult to fully-comprehend without the practical experience of it. I'v spent a good many years simply experimenting and playing around with his and similar ideas, particularly pythagoras', of the medians (harmonic, geometric & arithmetic) and the natural number system, and still discover new things each week, and more even inter-relations between.. everything.
At the video was shot, I didn't have the resources on hand to give a more practical demonstration. In the video I ask for those who could help to work with me to make a highly effective presentation. Right now I am revising a script which would require computer graphics and computer music, This would give a vivid demonstration of the ideas I merely refer to in the video..
A fascinating interpretation! You can almost hear the harmonies of the heavenly bodies responding. The more we learn about this subject, the more complex it becomes.
people use numbers to explain everything in nature, there is nothing special about music, vibration of air, sound waves, completely already described mathematically so this is nothing new, even more so music is so much more appealing for the fact that musicians know nothing about it! numbers can not explain human creativity and the human context of music, why beethoven can terrify me and why mozart can make me cry, maybe one day but not yet, thank goodness, it is this innocence which is it's beauty
There are several ideas in this paragraph jammed together. I will try to deal with one at a time. First, I love music and respond to it on many levels. I am not saying that there is a magic formula to creation. This does not mean that there is a neat separation between knowledge and instinct. In mentioning Beethoven and Mozart, you pick poor examples. They had highly developed intellects and knew a great deal about the craft that they use. Read Beethoven and the Creative Process .
The second thing I'd like to say in regards to fontecal's comment. There are many approaches to math and many approaches to music and many approaches about the relationship between them. This is just a casual talk that a friend asked me to make. I have received e-mails from people that have been helpful in developing my project. It is not something that I want to put in detail on youtube at this time, for quite a few reasons.
Since this was just intended as a way to connecting with people who might assist me, it has been successful. I never intended this to be a serious talk about my ideas and I reluctantly did additional videos as my friend was trying to coax me to spill the benas. This is not the appropriate place for me to do that.
All the comments made today are posted in the opposite order to my writing them. They are all in response to fontecal's comment. If we were talking rather than writing, he simply could have asked me "are you saying such and such." And I could have answered "no".
We need more! Publishing the book isn't a problem with sites like lulu. Or why not read the books out [or a chapter or two] on here? As for the instrumentation maybe getting the book out on the net [print publishing is so 20th century :)] will bring the programmers in but surely it could be done more simply to begin with ie how would pythorgaras have demonstrated it?
maybe if you get the knowledge out there on the net the rest will follow?

Very true.

Plato is also a great reference on this topic.

The Harmonic Code seems to allow creativity, not just in music or numbers, but any art or idea system that depends on either.

actually, psychology can explain those things you described as unexplainable pretty well. not perfectly, obviously, but still.
