Yes Bluma2---seeing Tim and Malcolm together that night was perhaps the greatest moment ever at Jack's. Tears were flowing but so were the smiles, too. Too bad there's no video of it(why on earth not!?) But the audio was captured I was told.
We (Blue Mother Tupelo) played Jammin' At Hippie Jack's before Tim Krekel where we first met and heard him. That was in May on Memorial Day weekend. He did a phenomenal job! Tim was planning on backing out of the fest due to health reasons but low & behold, God had a different plan and graced us all with Tim's wonderful performance. I'll never forget that night. He and Malcolm Holcombe jammed on several songs too! There was magic in the air all weekend long! We'll surely miss Tim's music.
got a call this afternoon from a friend about tim's death. first met him over 30 years ago and we've been acquaintances ever since. occasional smoke buddies. you know. that's eddie hysinger playing with him, like he has since hector was a pup. nice video. thanks.
Hippie this is awesome work, Tim and Ed are musicians of "True Heart" and you, Lenny and "th kids" caught a moment in music history and did it proud!!! Many kudos for some excellent work, the camera work on the solos was beautiful and yeah that means your editing was cool too.

I hope we all remember Tim for this song. All night radio is such a big part of music performance today.
