does anyone recalla 50's or 60's song i think by the cadets called "human",it had beginning lyrics,of ..."oh lord, why must i be born human(human)..i gotta laugh i gotta cry i gotta live i gotta die.".it was like spiritual or gospel influenced any help anyone.
Thanks so very much, 1st of all for the song, and 2nd for the video of one of those ''50's ubiquitous' 45 rpm record changers. When I was about 15, I thought this song sublime. Very appreciated.
I have a copy of this 45 which has "DEMONSTRATION SAMPLE NOT FOR SALE" printed on it , it's on London Records and belonged to my parents. Maybe it was a sample for the UK market. I found the story fascinating as a kid.
We have this on 78

Your record will soon warp when used in the direct sunlight.

This L.A. quintet also recorded as The Jacks. This song reached No. 18 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the summer of 1956.

This is awsome,i like the ny dolls live version more tho because of the guitar licks in the chorus.

That was the first version I'd heard of this song; hard to believe the guy singing also did "Hot Hot Hot". I like both versions about equally.
