@MissingnoUploader im trying to get my bird tamed too!!. at first i used to put gloves on to protect him biting me and get him from the cage n hold him thats what vet lady suggested. Then another vet lady said not to do it because it'll make him feel that im trying to do something bad or something like that. so i stopped trying to catch him and i give him millet by putting my hand nearer to him and bread too since my cockatiel loves bread!. watch my video's he allowed me to hold him after bath,
my cockatiel wont even let my hand touch him (except when he sits on my hand) i can pet him with my chin or nose, but thats it. Any suggestions with what i should do?
That was an exceptional video; first one I've seen of a 'tiel showing how affectionate they can be when getting petted. To this very day ours, a male, will ask us to give it "rubs."
