Other than him dying of unnatural causes^^, its a gud tutorial, but just so that you guys know there is a much simpler tutorial for rigging a character, watch the ,blender 3d rigging TUTORIAL.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS TUT MAN! :) Its so clear and gets you a product soo fast-nice and potent(i like how its fast) Got me got me a rigged model in blender and some familiarity with blender's rigging so quick. Definitely one of the best blender tuts out there man. Gr8t job! You're a really nice person for making this, take care man!
Thank you sooo Much at first i had no idea how to animate my charectors arm. i did it frame by frame now u showed me how to do this thank YOU dude Awsome tutorial hey can u make a tutorial for a cars or a bike wheel that works and goes round and round..lol!!
the visual quality is very good, the sound quality is painful with the constant changes in volume, but it was still informative.
A newer and simpler technique that i like to do is weight painting. now im stuck with a rig slightly more developed than this one and i can't find a good tutorial on getting the guy to walk around in a scene. i still don't quite understand the stride root..
Yeah it was helpful, but if you could take it slow it would be much more helpful. Do it much slower!! The only reason I will go look for another tutorial right now, is because it goes too fast. >_>
If you decide to get hardcore about rigging, get The ManCandy FAQ tutorial DVD. It covers rigging for complex facial expressions, b-bones, walk cycles etc. But you should get at least to the intermediate level first or it could be overwhelming.
Once again, awsome job on this tutorial, it's by far the best video for animation because it's not complex and it's easy to understand. Good work once more! another 5 stars :D
You are not allowed to make any more tutorials until you get a better mic
