  • i climbed Mt.Kosciuszko which is the highest point in Australia

    /watch?v=UohIWl4jIBM

  • yeah...the highest peak in of the world is in NEPAL....THE HOMELAND OF BUDDHA....

  • Probably quicker than walking.

  • everyone does know that mt everest is not the tallest mountain in the world

  • If you reach the summit, drop into the Cafe Continental, they do lovely Cheesecake and coffee. Just ask for big Rena.

  • @LEV1ATHYN no women there..

    you gay?

  • Great views, wish I was on that plane!

  • what a dumb ass teacher you have mate

  • @MrBoarder2 actually you are completely wrong, mauna kea is 13,796 feet above sea level. Mauna kea is not even close to the height of everest

  • @malachy55 yes sir it is at 29,030 feet in the air

  • I've been on that flight and loved it. We had an amazingly clear day with virtually no clouds as far as the eye can see. I should post my video as it's so great to see and feel like you are there again.

I'm sure you had a great trip.

  • so.... this is the most high mountin in the world?

  • This is so confusing so many mountains and everest looks like a bunch of mountains put together

  • Did you jump out of the plane with a snowboard and land on the slope of Everest and jump a row of 20 sherpas? I'll bet that's what happened. :)

  • Solid video of Mt. Everest.

  • how much did the flight cost you?

  • in that 90 miuntes did you not learn to hold the camera still?

  • Super video - what a sight to see. I'm so envious !!

  • chomulungma is the biggest mountain, it means mother of the sky. for hundreds of years, the people of that region lovingly call it CHOMULUNGMA. why then do we have to refer to it as mount everest? are we that arrogent and egotistical that we have to name the biggest rock on the planet after ourselves. do we have no humility?

  • @itsgottobefunky Nope!

  • Everest is nothing. Crib Goch in Wales is much harder (despite being only 923m high)

  • Great

    EncountersNepal

  • @ducksaretough but the height of mountains are counted from above sea level, the one in hawai in below sea level

  • @damanajmal Maua kea is said to be taller. maua kea is taller but everest has the higher elevation ABOVE sea level

  • my science teacher told us that it never snows on mt everest because its to close to the sun so it melts the snow...what a dumb ass

  • @Emericansemisk8rpro lol, I'm afraid your Science teacher is stupid :)

  • @Emericansemisk8rpro lmao :p did you throw this back at him?

  • @Emericansemisk8rpro anyone can get a decent job these days

  • @Emericansemisk8rpro There is no snow on the top of Mt. Everest due to the peak being so high that its in the jet stream, so the snow is blown off. Another major factor that makes it a dangerous place to be.

  • I wish i climbed all the way to the peak and stick out my boner so it could the tallest in the world

  • CHEATER!!!

  • muito lindo

  • How much did it cost?

  • Damnit ive been having nightmares about climbing the mountain

  • Thanks for sharing this awesome footage!

  • it's not right unless you climb it...

  • Man, it looks steep from that view thanks for posting this.

  • monte cervino: youtube.com/watch?v=KIzNcguR_6o

  • shame u could of jumped out bear grylls style!!!

  • im gonna climb that suckka one day

  • Also personally. I think the K2 or annapurna is a more exiciting mountain and the macchapuchre in pokhara the most beautiful.

Nevertheless Everest (Chomolungma) is a thing of beauty too,

  • i`ve wanted to climb this for the longest time

  • I'll climb Everest :F

  • awesome

  • That's Qomolangma. Not Everest. Get it out of your heads.

  • @SuperboyConnerKent

As a nepalese, even I think we should scrap Everest and sagarmatha and officially call it Chomolungma

  • just make sure not to climb with an outfit called Summit Climb. They nearly got me killed on Everest

  • I'm proud to have the Tallest peak in the world of my country, Bangladesh.

  • You fucking flying over it!?

    THATS CALLED CHEATING!!

  • The Lhotse face is just one of the most gigantic, awe-inspiring things in the world, good luck it exists

  • You're so lucky that the pilot allowed you in the cockpit for that fantastic view!

  • Who flies to Everest? What's the fucking point?

  • @colonelboston if you have to ask such stupid question you will never understand

  • @slovakmath I meant as opposed to climbing it dipshit. No one cares about a flyby video -- ANYONE can do that.

  • @colonelboston SURE!!! because climbing Everest is SO easy right? you obviously are one oft these people who think if you have enough money and you exercise for 6 months you can climb Everest lol

  • @slovakmath How did you deduce that? Seriously, how do you take me saying anyone can FLY to Everest as me meaning anyone can CLIMB Everest? I never said Everest was an easy climb. However, in terms of the 8000ers, it is the easiest. I mean hell, its death rate is a low 4.4% which is amazing given the number of people who attempt its summit each year. It's not as tough as K2 (20%) or Kanchenjunga (22%), both of which have had less total summits than Everest has annually. Anything else?

  • i would like to add that to my rock collection...

  • a lot of people tried to climb that mount but they died

  • What a privilege to take a flight like that, AND to be allowed to shoot video from the cockpit!!

  • -------->AWESOME!!!!!<------------

  • nepal rock yo

  • very good ppoude you shuld proud for the hightest (not tallest) mountain in yoour country and i got secound hightest mountain k2 in my country paksitan

  • @topazrw2 hahaha.....its somewhere in the border of pakistan...........and pakistan was a part of india...

  • Excellent video, better is on youtube by typing "escalada ao pico do itaguaré"

  • the peak which has said MAKALU is wrong & that is Kanchenzhongha.

  • @durjoyghosh You're correct

  • No need to be proud because it is there naturally and it is a mountain of all people around the globe. If you want to be proud of it than this country has 8 out of 10 mountains in the world which are more than 8,000 metre high. All I know about this mountain is every people should visit here at least once in their life. A bunch of thanks to Mr. David for sharing your great experiences.

  • i climbed everest in 2002

  • @kubste I climbed too (every nights)

  • Lovely video, it reminds me about when i climbed Mount Everest backwards, those were the days.

  • lmao!!!

  • that is tottaly awesome im learning that at school and reading the book Peak where a boy get to the summit we r finishing it tomarrow so i cant wait to c how it ends

  • Im all ready trainning to climb everst (:

  • @sciencegirlxxoo awesome lucky

  • What kind of training?

  • That is an awesome view of Everest. Don't think I'll be climbing it.

  • Comment removed

  • When I went on that flight, the pilots told us that we flew closer to Everest than they ever had before. Did they tell you guys that too?

  • wow! you got in the cockpit... what a privilege. Great footage!

  • @imolinp so did i

  • That was fantastic! Thanks for sharing!

  • wow mount everest looks so kool

  • Wow amazing!!! great video

  • im going there tommarow it is gonna be awsome

  • lol

  • nagyon fasza

  • Amazing video! The peak seems so inviting...no wonder people are ready to die to scale it.

  • I'm proud to have the tallest (8,850 meters) peak of the world in my country NEPAL.....

  • @ppoudel1977 i wonder in how many years will be 10,000 meters!

  • @ppoudel1977

Why? Its not like it was built by your people or anything. It was there before there was anyone to name it or Nepal and it will be there long after.

  • @cubepusher : mate Mt. Everest is our identity. It wasn't built by us but nature has placed it here in our country to make us proud. Monkey doesn't know the taste of ginger coz it never tired.....u don't know how it feels to have tallest Mountain of the world coz u don't have it....

    ....Grapes are sour....

  • @ppoudel1977 It's just a stupid tall mountanin you retard!

  • @ziamosgendura : ur country pays this retard. i work in a swiss org

  • @pramesh1977 How do you know which country I'm from? Cos you said 'ur country'? So why does my country pay him, I just don't get it.... Im also a retard, don't worry....

  • @ppoudel1977 are the girls from Nepal hot? I wanna climb on one.

  • @ppoudel1977 -whats so great about having the tallest mountain in your country? that's like saying i'm so proud to live in the united states where all americans have big dicks. it's really meaningless.only fools who don't respect life attempts everest.you can have that "MEANINGLESS'' feat.there's 1 million other things in the world for people to do besides spending money on a meaningless challenge and putting your life on the line just to say i climbed everest.who fucking cares? keep it up hero

  • @str8outtatexas1

Brilliant! Spoken like a true Texas coward. Texas, the "we can't" state.

You're the kind of cunt who wears a crash helmet while driving to work.

A wise man once opined that there's no lower form of man than a Texan and by your pathetic cowardly comments he most certainly was right.

Also, the only way Texans will ever have big dicks is if they get implants like all those skanky Texas whores get in their tits.

    Bye cunt!

  • @AirplaneturboFan - a wise man hah?tell that wise man he's very smart.you must be an everest dare devil also. man just like i said keep proving a ''MEANINGLESS'' point.go ahead and lose your legs or hands because you wanna be a hero. tell you what if you like it,i love it. good job. do your thing. i'm the loser in life.and the implants and skanky whores, well maybe those are the type of trailer park type skanks you fuck, but i don't want anything fake or generic.that shits a turn off. c'mon mane

  • @str8outtatexas1

Everest. Never been, never will be (though I do climb up the rocks on the sides of mountains (when the weather is good) and I'd lose a lot more than a hand or foot if I took a tumble. The point being that what's MEANINGLESS to some/many people is MEANINGFUL to others. If it's not your cup of tea no biggie, but no need to take a shit on others, mane!

Plus, I'll admit that I've seen a few girls from TX without the fake titties and big hair and they weren't bad looking at all.

  • @AirplaneturboFan oh, & what state might you be from??

  • @SymAmineC8H11N

    Florida. :)

  • @AirplaneturboFan then, i would say texas is better than your state, in that florida is the only state who's electrical power grid relies solely on imported oil; & that texas is less likely to have further gun control legislation proposed than florida in the future. plus, recently the governer of texas shot a wolf that almost attacked him while he was out jogging, how badass is that??

  • @SymAmineC8H11N wrote, "then, i would say texas is better than your state, in that florida is the only state who's electrical power grid relies solely on imported oil."

A DAMNED LIE - we've got nukes!! (Turkey Point, St. Lucie, Crystal River 3)

Also, Florida was the very first state to kick off the "shall issue" statutes related to concealed carry weapons permits (about 20 years ago!).

    Ricky Perry shot a COYOTE.

A coyote is to a wolf what a tabby is to a tiger = NOT BADASS AT ALL.

  • @AirplaneturboFan yeah, but does that power go to go to florida, or other states above?? i know about the shall issue for c.c.w., but i think in general the florida voting demographic would be more vulnerable in electing harmful candidates into their state legislature.

  • @SymAmineC8H11N

Nuclear power - it goes either entirely or mostly to Florida.

The Florida electorate just elected Marco Rubio to the U.S. Senate - the citizens' C.C.W. permits are VERY safe.

  • @AirplaneturboFan i meant state senate. i don't care about c.c.w. as much as i do about high capacity mag restrictions.

  • @str8outtatexas1 actually, these types of expeditions are important for peoples like i.e. an 'above the knee amputee' war veteran in establishing an exhaustive confidence level for their new lifestyle. it doesn't have to everest either

  • @ppoudel1977 Actually, the tallest mountain in the world is in Hawaii (the U.S). Mount Everest is just the highest mountain above sea level, that's all.

  • @NoogahOogah hahah i was just looking for an jelous American that just had to open his fat mouth! Get over it America is NOT the greatest contry or the finest in the world so just shut the fuck up!

  • @Evoltunion If you will kindly read my comment, you will see that by no means did I imply that America is the greatest or finest country in the world. However, the fact remains. The U.S is home the tallest mountain on earth. Mt. Everest is only the highest above sea level. You yourself are sounding awfully "jealous" the way your flaming at me.

  • @NoogahOogah last time i checked, under sea level is still Earth,so the U.S doesnt have the highest mountain.

  • @videomaster098 ...as you said, under sea level is still Earth, and so therefore the highest mountain above or under sea level is the highest mountain on earth. Ergo, the United States has the highest mountain on Earth. Any objections to this logic?

  • @NoogahOogah

yes I do.you said the highest mount under or above sea level is still Earth,so Everest is the highest mountain;which is in NEPAL.

any objections to this logic, you smug little twerp?

  • @videomaster098 Let's try it this way: Mauna Kea (in the United States) stands 33,838 feet from base to top. Mt. Everest stands 29,029 feet from base to top. Read those numbers carefully, and figure out which one is taller, then you will see that the highest mountain on Earth is Mauna Kea, in Hawaii, the United States of America. Are we clear on this?

  • dude,everyone can tell you're a virgin 4 life.get laid!

  • @NoogahOogah

Bro, you americans are realy big...but in competisions as a hot dog eating or a burb contests...Get real.

  • @simlink03 You should see a picture of me, and a picture of the average American. Most of us aren't fat. And anyways, you can't debate the facts.

  • @ppoudel1977 tallest mountain and the shortest people hahaha.. cool man.. your country does look nice.

  • @ppoudel1977 ...

...You're proud your country has the tallest peak? Why, did you put it there? If so, good job. If not, shouldn't you be proud of an accomplishment you had something to do with?

  • @joby613 ur a cunt fuck off urself

  • @mcfagtic80... YOU'RE a fucking cunt you faggot ass trawling troll. Now, FUCK your syphilitic mother and crawl back under your rock. jackass.

  • @ppoudel1977

Why isn't nepal part of India? Its such a small state that will benefit from joining!

  • @TheArceus12345 @TheArceus12345 why India isnt still colony of british..or better british state....that would benefit all poor indians and would developed like england ...and use pound currency rather than IC....will more civilized ,clean ..better they all will be british citizen and more powerful in world...benifit for both countries...whay u say?

  • @DYnorphin100

Its because they INVADED India. And India was much more developed before it happened. The same thing happened to China! They had good technology but the government wanted wealth so they changed the rules..

  • @TheArceus12345 i guess i havent got perfect reply....its not matter of development and benifit but rather about sovereign state....No country want to loose their soveregnity...so Indian people fight back against colonist....so i think every one need to show some respect against any country or race of people....other wise one day again we will bring big distruction agains humanity....

  • @TheArceus12345 yeah, before india was as big as pakisthan india, and bangladesh and nepal together, then it seperated into different parts due to the british

  • @damanajmal

my ass. it got separated. It was never part of india. nepal lost a war with british hence, they lost territories like sikkim, kumaoun garhwal, darjeeling, tista to bristish, and when india got its independence they gained those territories. . get your facts right.

  • @damanajmal

  • amazing

  • that mountain is higher than skycrap

  • that would be an experience of a lifetime. with how much beauty there is on this planet, how can someone doubt that God exists?

  • God is pushing India up towards the Himalaya as much as he can...

  • I'm not sure whether u r trying to say that Mt. Everest is in India, but if thats the case then u r wrong. Mt. Everest also called as Sagarmatha lies in the north of NEPAL. I repeat it again for you, Mt. Everest is in NEPAL.....

  • I am very well aware that Everest or Sagarmatha OR Chomolungma OR Jo-mo glang-ma ri. is not in India but in Tibet and Nepal. My comment was directed to "tpstrst14" which seem to believe that God has something to do with Everest.

India is moving up against China and that is why we have Everest and that is also why Everest is getting higher and higher.

It is a question of geology not religion.

  • hi man!! awesome video! hey one question, how mucho was it???? I'm going to kathmandu in a few weeks!

    thanks!

  • awsome!

  • did you see the yeti?

  • lol

  • I wana climb it

  • i wanna be the youngest person ever to climb it but you can be part of my crew

  • There is already a serie of books that I read called Everest. They are written by Gorden Korman.

  • I think the youngest person was 16.

  • 13 years

  • Wow really that is young, I don't know if that record will ever be broken

  • @PhilyBdizzle hi all guys i need to say pple very important massege mount everest is the highest peak in the world and guys why u pple always says that mount everest is in himalayas yeha its true its in himalayas but where is himalayas then?????i know the answer the himalayas is in the small most beautiful counntry lies in asia and where lots of things are amazing and except mt k2 all other highest mountains lies in NEPAL .......

  • I gotta admit I'm a little torn here. On the one hand, it's amazing to see so many high peaks at eye level--Makalu, Lhotse, and of course Everest. I would love to see them in person. (I'm too yellow to try to climb anything higher than my stairs.) But this is also a little trashy, a cheap, yuppie, pseudo adventure (though I'm sure it cost a few bucks). I'm concerned about the future pollution in these remote areas--litter, yes, but also noise pollution (as from airplanes).

  • very nice scene.

  • That mountain is ridiculous huge!

  • This is beautiful. It's one of my dreams to visit the area. Thanks for posting.

  • Comment removed

  • thoose mountains that was juat above the clouds was nice :P

  • why dont they just use airplanes or choppers or even a spaceship to land on the top of mount everest.

  • thats the fat ass way

  • The air is very thin up there. A helicopter will not be able to get off the ground at a certain elevation because there is not enough air to make it go up.

  • ..or the U.F.O's....

  • in the Everest documentary they said if someone were able to ride a helicopter or something to the top of Everest, got out, and breathed in the air up there, within a few seconds they'd pass out, within a minute or two they'd be dead...that's why a BIG part of climbing Everest is just waiting to become acclimated to the air

  • at that height the air is way too thin to make a controlled landing with an aircraft, especially a helecoptor which would make the most sense to use. there would be a ridiculous amount of turbulence.

  • omg

  • ver nice , incredible

  • good that, thanks

  • I climb that mountain to the very top its pretty scary. but a pain a lost a toe cause of it.

  • yea im on top of it right now u get pretty good internet connection with the at&t card hahhaha fuckin idiot

  • beautiful but scary.

  • Now that's the way to see Everest!! It is certainly within my personal comfort zone.

  • cant you die when you go up there?

  • no of course not silly!! *extreme sarcasm*
