@monkeyheads01 schnuazer are vocal dog but than they are very intelligent easy train... they are also pron to skin problem just make sure your schnauzer have the right food... u will love schnauzer as they grow... my schnauzer is my baby...

I dont see the point in having their ears cropped, it seems like such a waste of time and money - and pain for the poor pup. Ive only just got my first schnauzer and dont know much about the breed though. Is there a reason for it?

There may at one time have been a reason. They were bred to kill rats and the thinking was that cropping the ears protected them from being bitten by the rats. Now it is mostly done on show dogs, but I still prefer the floppy ears and I'm sure the dog does too.
