I'm not from the LA area but I read that according to May 2007's news ratings or "sweeps", KTLA's 10pm news is in third place behind Fox 11 and KCAL 9!
it's Vinnie Malcolm's fault. I heard he also thought of cancelling the newscast. KTLA has really declined since the death of Larry McCormick and the departures of Jann Carl, Barbara Beck, and a large slew of reporters who gave way to younger, sexier, more attractive Hollywood types, who by the way are from some place else.
