Great song! I'm surprised this wasn't a bigger hit! Joanie has a great voice and this again is a great song!

At the time, even though she appeared on many variety shows, and a staple at concerts and in nightclubs, Joanie was better known for her Pepsi radio/TV commercial vocals than records such as this, 'Mike'. And keep in mind that The Beatles were dominating the pop charts at the time this was originally issued- this one barely climbed up the "Top 100".
