It's great that Jim's Muppets have been staying alive in this way. I don't think any of the parts of Disney, Henson, and Sesame Workshop are any different from each other at all. People still realize that it is all one and the same, all part of Jim's extended family. Even Disney has realized that now in recent years.
I think that way too. Just because the gang from Sesame and Kermit's clan have been separated physically DOESN'T mean spiritually as well, they're all still a part of Jim's legacy. And I agree that it seems as Disney finally realized WHO the Muppets are and what made them so great in the first place, as one can see in their recent "Bohemian Rhapsody" video.
And a good example of their realization is adding Rowlf to the "Dog City" DVD release coming out this summer. They obviously know that their job is to help preserve the Muppets and not keep them to far from anything else in the Henson family from Fraggle Rock, The Dark Crystal, Sesame Street, etc. That should mean something.
@654zns Exactly! And of course, there's also the inclusion of Kermit's old bits on Sesame Street's Youtube channel, AND his surprise cameo in a recent episode!
Well Patrick did say that they re-creating the classic "I've Grown Accustomed To Your Face" sketch in the show. So I bet that's the puppet they're using for Yorick's part. ;)
Oh Brian, how could you? What would your Dad say??? LOL!!!
