@baxteryy actually its made by GM/Isuzu/opel , but that doesnt matter. yes great car, decent trail car(even better with suspension upgrade, lift, ECU upgrade and better/bigger tires), not bad mileage. I've lift it 3 inch, put bigger tires on it, tweak ECu and put winch and roof rack on it. It has aprox 240.000km still working good. Maybe its not like toyota or land rover, but still quit good for occasional trail course or not so hard off roading.
HI, the ground clearance is reasonable on the frontera, for its type, its the same as many other vehicles and IS the same as the trooper etc as its the same vehicle, (lower body same running gear). There is no centre diff on fronteras, thats why you mustnt drive on roads in 4 wheel drive. However that makes them a great off road car, every discovery owner should have one....
the only reason we dont really take ours offroad is the low ground clearance can anyone tell me f they have a central difflock or traction control in a t reg frontera
I really want a frontera as a second vehicle, a lwb early diesel model, with a view to having something nice to drive whilst not having to drive my taxi, and also the occasinal towing of my caravan,I love the early ones.
Got an Fronti Sport in Black... very good car... Btw. it`s made by GM and manufactured in UK from Vauxhall... Anyhow - Best Buy ever...
