Hi I have moved on since this design was tested and am now using a slighly different setup but still only 2DOF will try to post some updated videos ASAP cheers by the way on the new platform driven by software and interface produced by Buggies built for fun turbulance can easily be simulated :-) well at least as far as 2DOF will allow anyways
Hi regarding parts the base was made from 22mm marine ply and 4" x2" timber to stop flexing , Power assisted Steering Rack without Power assist and a Prop shaft and Universal Joint for the Pivot sytem ..Google Jimspage flight simulator for software and electronics not rocket science and he makes it all doable for the common man great site very helpull guy :-)
have not really calculated a price yet as its a bit of build as you go type of project but less than £300 pounds excluding PC and controllers etc not a bad return on something like this and as i like to say the next one will be better Most parts from Local DIY shops Boot Fairs and Car Breakers
Hiya thanks for the positive comments that was the platform driven through fs2004 as you can see from the motion i just mangled the cessna LOL:-0 but heading in the right direction
