  • This is really great. Thanks for sharing.

  • Thanks for your technical information about the device. Concerning the two ideas from M. LAMARCK you mentioned, I do agree: Bagua Zhang is a good tool to improve our ability to adapt ourselves to ou environment.

  • Great ! Could you show us a demo with somebody practising ?

  • @MOUAHLOIS Thank you. I no longer have these devices. I lived in a big place when I built these, and when I moved I had no place to put them up. Still, I wanted to share the ideas so if anyone out there wanted to build any of these and practice some free flow Baguazhang techniques to advance the art of Baguazhang. The basic idea is horizontal and vertical Baguazhang fighting from inside the circle outward, and fighting from outside the circle inward. The climbing part builds strength.

  • @Bagua2pnt0 congratulations for the construction of this device. I wish I had the room to have one

  • @MOUAHLOIS Thank you. I have other ideas for devices more complex and larger.

The overall plan is for people around the world to advance Baguazhang far into the future.

French theorist Jean-Baptiste Lamarck had 2 main concepts for advancing.

1 Le pouvoir de la vie: The complexifying force.

2 L'influence des circonstances: The adaptive force.

Basically our environment or situation gives us the opportunity to adapt and advance our skills which make us more complex.

  • @MOUAHLOIS Sphere 2: Larger stationary with 5 foot poles pointing outward. Large support beam in the center. Movement under, around and climbing on. The outer framework covered with wood planks to provide a floor to walk on the top portion.

Sphere 3: Large with 5 to 6 foot poles on the inside like the cage. The outer framework would be round like a ball. The inner framework could be covered with wood or plexiglass floor. As you practice inside, the ball rolls to adjust to your movements.
