The first song is requem for a dream - Clint Mansell. It can ne found on limewire. It has quite a few remixes of it too, the ending theme is FFVII Advent CHildren - Cloud Vs Kadaj. Just type that into limewire and it shoudl come up. Hope this helps.

It's been used so much that there's even a version called 'Requiem for a Tower', which was used in a Lord of the Rings advert.
