why not? when u change gears at full rpm it doesnt drop back to 3000rpm,

rev to 7000 and change would drop back to about 5000 which is just abot bang on where the power is.

the only gear u will lag in is 1st gear and thats if ur at a stand still

I can see where that wouldnt be a problem on a drag strip but dont you want a little wider powerband on a road course? And i guess i really prefer to drive something that makes mountians of torque from 2500-5500 and breaks your neck on the 2nt gear shift. But thats me i guess.

also if u got a gtr/supra and ur rpm range can rev out to anywhere

from 7-10k, theres lots more power to be made higher then 5500.

Im in negoiations with a guy from MI with a 95 RHD 2jz BPU, and built motor 3.4L stroker unfinished, needs a turbo kit for a single, (headers etc) well I priced out a gt47-88 kit, think I might get it... in the future. All n all, the car is decent, but needs work, finish body etc. But Im so tempted.

If you keep your eyes open, you can see the car accelerate from 40ish to 60ish in about 1.5 seconds once full boost is reached.
