after watching it a couple of times and at the spots that people mention, i'd have to say that this is fake. I can play the solo up to the part where the long finger stretch from the 17th fret to the 10th fret and the 12th fret on the high e and b string, but the parts after that i cant play. i wanted to see if this video could show me how the rest is played. the fingerings look right but the picking dosn't match,

@totoreno100 Yes, he just learned to move the fingers in sync with a melody but never plugged the guitar in. Then he recorded a video without audio and uploaded it here. One day he may figure out he can plug the guitar in, and then we'll hear it's actually a lady gaga cover he's playing.

Hey man good job this solo is a real hard one. Im a guitar teacher and this solo took me a very long time to learn. To everyone saying its fake i can tell you its not, if you listen to it starting at 1:04 you'll hear its not the same notes as the recording, thats not really bad though cause even marty doesn't(or can't) play that part like the record live either. I'm a huge marty fan and i think he's the best megadeth has had but i have to say Broderick plays it note for note, every time.

@RapportTattoo Just to add to what you were saying about Marty not playing that bit live, im not making excuses for him, but he said on a video he hates long stretches and tries his best to get out doing them/substituting them wherever possible, even when recording, his hands are physically not that big (thats what he said). So I guess sitting down he was Ok with but standing, no way he could probably reach the right frets. I mean, that bit kills my left hand too and I have quite long fingers.
