@ceredigio If you listen to Bernd Eichinger's audio commentary, you know he was most concerned to use realistic scenes in all their terrible banality, e.g. Eva's and Magda's last letters are authentic and the bunker layout is genuine (though I think of when Speer gets lost in his own bunker) so I am sure that Misch's reminiscence is the core of this scene.
