  • Great video about twitter. Its about time people start using twitter to build a relationship first. Its word of mouth on steriods. Thx. I'm already on the challenge site.

  • Yes, 'beautiful presenation, thank you. It's inspiring - the look-and-feel of the pens I mean, the guitars - refreshing in today's plastic fast disposable world. But I still wouldn't want life to revolve ostentatiously around the quality of the pen I use, nor deny others the ability to enjoy a moment of using it. But thank you kindly for the useful coaching and walkthrough about social networking, which I'm avidly learning about. Regards, Bruce Thomson in New Zealand.

  • Thumbs up for this! Keep it up!

  • with the help of the social network such as twitter as an example, enhance the business strategies of every entrepreneur who aims to improve their profit, visibility, and to attract more customers who will be the source of their increasing demands. twitter is a very useful site, not only for those who uses it for fun or just to update their status, but in other way around, twitter has a great help to those business owners who uses the internet to outsource their business through the internet.

  • Like the use of Screen Flow with this video. Interested to see more than 15 mins with this video since YT says their new limit is now 15 mins. Tweeting about what we're doing is important and tweeting automatically with each post is so easy to do these days.

  • I really appreciate the information that Ed gives here it is just pure valuable content on one of the tools needed to do internet marketing. Excellent video information. I completely agree with him when everyone has to talk as if he were talking to someone with passion and not just trying to sell something. Thanks a lot.

  • I think what is best about the video in your interest in this Artisian fellow. You evoke curiousity in your own business by selling someone else's business. That's lovely, especially since your enthusiasm is truthful.

    Well done to You

  • Awesome!!thanks!!

  • That was a great video on how to do twitter right. Love the way you put the video together. Great infomation, I subscribed to your channel right after seeing this video. Keep up the good work

  • Great video, great advice!! Have you explored video marketing with Twitter? I'm working closely with KWIKVID. com to create some virals videos for my clients, i'm very excited about it all!! Keep it up.

  • OMG please get to the point! this was a twitter comment? great advice - about 3 minutes worth - the rest....ugh.

  • agree, get to the point.!

.. who cares about you and your friend sharing a passion for coffee?

write a blog about those things (though I am affraid nobody would read it, even the search engine spiders will get bored)

  • Great work

  • Who cares about your pens get to the point!

  • This more shameless promotion for some guys pens- and less about effective use of Twitter in the business world.

    Viewer Beware.

  • Anyone know what Twitter plugin was used on the blog? I'd like to have a separate page on my blog so people can follow me on twitter too!

  • Nevermind its not a plugin just a link to twitter

  • Great comments and observations about this fantastical social media platform, Twitter. My favorite part is their logo - what a cute lil bird..lol.

    Love the accent!

  • I like the recording quality and substance of your videos. Good Job.

  • Isn't this called "shmoozing"? Sort of like warming up to people bit by bit pretending to like people when really all you are interested in is selling your product? Building a larger insincere shallow world for yourself?.....

    Just sayin' maybe.....

  • and he's a millionare doing what he does. All the power to him!

  • MatthewMuhammad, you are so right &I am often 2 suspicious with all the wrong people.

Due 2 your comment I re-watched this video & realized I had 2 have been involved in wallowing in my own recent issue regarding a wonderful sounding shmoozer who I supported 4 the past year who ended up damaging a lot of good people & so I have been fighting my own dark, moody issues. In my attentive re-watching of this video I now c a brilliant man doing a good thing, giving great ideas to others 4 free.

  • Good on you for being able to reflect. I've listened to A LOT of Ed Dale in the past 6 months and I get very impatient - come on, cut to the chase... but I'm learning that is my problem, not Ed's.

  • I've watched a lot of vids in the last few weeks & I am beginning 2 c that this guy is one of the best guys around. I think he is fantastic. I would love to take part in one of his 30 day challenges.

I still say that way 2 many of the other guys on the web r pretty shallow in their integrity & I think it is heartbreaking 4 some people who are vulnerable. I am big on integrity and sincerity & I hate seeing the lambs being led to slaughter.

But I believe this guy is one of the greats.

  • Great vid! I'm sharing in my network now :)

  • Hey Good Video and great approach to business I could use someone like you check out my page and videos, should be some helpful information on there.

  • excellent analyzation! i enjoyed listening and watching you explain the keys and strengths of this site. very nicely done.

  • cool.thx

  • Great stuff. I want to RT back to Twitter. I hope I do it right. Everyone needs to listen to your advice. Thank You.

  • really good vid very professional

  • I wanted to know how to use twitter. That's all. Your vid is about a guy selling pens.

  • Hi Ed, this is a great video, great information here! Feel free to post this as a video response to my TweetDeck video...

  • great demonstration.

  • My greatest fear for Twitter is that they never find a profitable business model and they disappear. They are still burning through money, and that cannot go on forever...

  • @LesM sez good stuff follow me too! Good luck.

  • hi mate what did you use to make your video?

  • what a lovely australian accent!

  • Thanks for the info.

  • Great example of using twitter the "right" way!

  • I use this as my main way of trying to explain 30DC to makers, artists etc.

It would be great to have more like this to try to get the potential across to people who would normally be wary of marketing of this kind.

  • Ed used a piece of software called Screenflow to make the video. It's Mac only software though, so no joy if you're a PC owner.

  • I'm actually interested in how Ed produced this video. Anyone have an idea about the software used? Youtube, Twitter, blogging and social marketing that has got to be an unstoppable combination!

  • possibly camtasia studio. It lets you record what your doing on your pc or net while doing it. Great program

  • he uses Screen Flow. it's only available for mac osx leopard

  • I should give my Twitter more care; thanks for giving another inspiring real-life example.

  • nicely done presentation of the power of twitter as well, thanks!

  • ... by the way, I found this via @carolinemiddlebrook on Twitter :-)

  • I think your final point is particularly powerful here - if you're clogging it up and just spamming, click and you're unfollowed. It's a great point. Authentic voices are important in building this kind of business.

  • Its nice to see people really using Twitter as it was designed to be used. As you say, too many people that use it for marketing just try to pitch only which is such as mistake!

  • Agreed. Richard is actually eloquent in less than 140 characters at a time.

Blog is quite well done also.

This video is one of the most advanced presentations ever on Youtube.
