The reason why he didnt do pefect is because he added in vibrato and did a couple trills in his notes that give the song more soul but make it kind of off key for the game.

I think there is in some of the later versions; I don't play it much, so I wouldn't know, but I think the latest versions include an optional singing component.

@rexlink1 Guitar Hero & Rock Band that supports the microphone doesn't pick up the words that are supposed to be sung. It only picks up the pitch of your voice. He played the ocarina in the pitch that the vocals were supposed to be in.
