I never thought I'd see the day where someone sought to vindicate Ted Hughes' actions. I'm of the opinion that they've misrepresented Sylvia while bolstering the image of Ted.
poor sylvia..she wrote poems that were just as good as him(if not innovatively better)she put her heart&soul into reading em,just like he did,but learnt at the end of the day its a mans world...female groupies want to sleep with professors..it doesnt work the other way a female professor attracting male students..she tried to be the good wife, blaming herself-never giving him a reason to stray; but he left her anyway..the usual sadist/masochist borderline attraction thing..inevitable outcome
