Bowe was never a favorite of mine, but Golata cheated too much. He has only himself to blame...he had Bowe beaten in the second round and threw that deliberate head butt that gave Bowe the break he needed to survive the round. Look at 1:37 where he got into trouble and resorted to low blows, and even during the knockdown he was trying to hit low (4:45). When it didn't work the first time you can see at 3:18-23 he is LOOKING DIRECTLY AT BOWE'S CROTCH as he targets it.

I tried so hard to respect Andrew Golota, he had the skills, the strength as a heavyweight. the fans loved him. He made a name for himself kicking Riddick Bowe's ass but time and time again Golota has proved to be a serious underachiever and a complete failure as a boxer. He has quit fights(Tyson) He has thrown fights away (low blows on Bowe) in both fights. I am a Boxing fan and i've seen some great fighters in my lifetime but i must say that Andrew Golota is by far THE DUMBEST FIGHTER alive !!

I was a die hard fan all those years and always supported him but he was so disappointing. In his later years he finally matured mentally but by then his skills decayed. I had this a close fight up until maybe round 6 7 or 8, but with the point deductions Bowe could have been lightly ahead or even, he dropped Golota, had him hurt on a few occasions, he cut him and even when Bowe was getting battered he would slug back.
