The patients look like they are prisoners in a death camp more then a hospital of care. This saddens me... Bounding these patients don't cure any disabilities or disease, just causes them to progress more... This kills my heart so bad...
I vote on bounding all the nurses and doctors in that facility and throw them in a dark room and let them stay in there 365 days and let them feel how their patients feel. >:[ This is cruelty!

Quite a few of what looks to be 10-16 year old children in the cribs are actually 18-25 year olds. When in conditions such as this your body doesn't produce the hormone that causes growth. It's just so sad whatthey go through. They are in bed all day so they practically fuse in that position.

I'm Scottish and I've been to Serbia to see a friend many times and stayed there for up to three months during my visits.
One time I went there and my friend's Aunt was ill. Her lover had been killled in a car crash some years before and ever since she had had periods of instability. Finally, she annoyed her neighbours too much and they called the authorities and had her put in hospital for assessment. My friend and I went to see her three times during my stay. I can tell you honestly......
......the people were fed, clothed and their toilet was taken care of in all its details where necessary. There was no abuse. I even noticed that stray dogs on the streets of Belgrade would routinely refuse offers of food from me in the middle of a bitter winter because they were clearly ver well fed.
Serbs are decent, modern, intelligent Europeans and this kind of anti-Serb hysterical propaganda if beneath contempt.

@figbuniti no ive never been to Serbia. have YOU EVER been in one of these institutions? NO and government is NOT american. It is serbian. Serbia is NOT a territory of the US. And regardless of that comment, this shit is STILL happening in SERBIA regardless of who's government...and from what i've seen here in the US this is not how we treat OUR mentally disabled people. Crackheads and murderers here in the US get better treatment than these people do

@jewishpinoy the whole point is - this is NOT happening - patients are NOT being treated badly in any way. Serbian hospitals are not in a good conditions after Americans did everything possible to destroy the country before making it American colony, but Serbian doctors and nurses are ordinary people like every other and they do their best to help their patients. Of course you have no idea about Serbia but Im appalled that anyone can believe this obvious propaganda nonsense.

@beogsrb Yes I know everyone is lying and it is some big conspiracy. Even the interview with the Serbian government was faked. Perhaps a look alike? Come on my friend. Look at the interviews and the many organizations that have documented this. I have not been to Serbia but I do have two disabled young children so am very careful that all disabled are treated with the best care.

I'm Scottish and I've been to Serbia to see a friend many times and stayed there for up to three months during my visits.
One time I went there and my friend's Aunt was ill. Her lover had been killled in a car crash some years before and ever since she had had periods of instability. Finally, she annoyed her neighbours too much and they called the authorities and had her put in hospital for assessment. My friend and I went to see her three times during my stay. I can tell you honestly......

......the people were fed, clothed and their toilet was taken care of in all its details where necessary. There was no abuse. I even noticed that stray dogs on the streets of Belgrade would routinely refuse offers of food from me in the middle of a bitter winter because they were clearly ver well fed.
Serbs are decent, modern, intelligent Europeans and this kind of anti-Serb hysterical propaganda if beneath contempt.

This is what to expect in a country with very poor economic stability, very poorly educated people and a culture where people disabilities are put down or hidden from society its sad but true many parts of eastern europe are also similar.
