  • THAT Is what a S-3L-R should sound like

  • That horn is is great shape. Conrail lives on.

  • NOW THAT"S A AWESOME LASHUP!!

  • Hey i caught the Conrail #3385 in Gainesville,GA in November

  • THAT IS A LESLIE RS-3L ANS IT ROCKS!!

  • Nice!! Like the idea of an EX. Conrail SD40-2

In the lead and also a BNSF Pumpkin. I got a BNSF in the lead of #204 last week. Engine #5505

  • i just saw those locos at the yard

  • Loved how he played with the RS3L.

  • Oh yeah. Thats an awesome horn.

  • That is actually a Leslie S3L, not an RS3L

  • Whatever, close enough.

  • Still a difference.

  • I know but still, relatively the same.

  • Relativey yeah, but still not the same kind of horn.

  • I know thats why I said relatively! LOL, they're ..kind of.. the same. At least both ways it still sounds good.

  • Actually they are exactly the same horn they just have different power chambers. Many S-3L horns were rebuilt with RS power chambers as they are more reliable. Both have the Leslie 25, 31 and 44 bells and sound the same Leslie L chord.

  • Then why do they sound different.

  • i cant tell they sound different. hell i cant tell the difference between an RS3L (or S3L) and an RS5T (or S5T)
