  • he's just a nutter who can do everything lol

  • if you wiegh a lot when you do calisthenics do the workouts get easier if you lose weight?

  • You guys rock!

  • I just purchased the two calisthenics DVDs. I really think that this addition to my workout will take me to the next level. Much respect for showing how far we can push our bodies without any weights or machines. I will post up some videos in a couple of months once I get some results.

  • @djxt01 how did you like these dvds ??

  • The DVD's are very impressive. I am inspired to push my body to new limits. There are many different exercises that I wouldnt believe to be possible before seeing the videos, like the jumping handstand push up with a clap. That was amazing!!! Good job.

  • I just got the 3rd DVD from Calisthenics Kingz and if ya'll want something that's going to inspire, motivate and push you, these DVDs are it! A year and a half ago, I couldn't do handstands, but check out my page now. HIT inspired!

  • u lot shud start break dancing lol

  • Holy shit at :50! You guys are awesome. Big props big props. I wanna get in this kind of shape.

  • you guyz are the first to put some kind of leg workout in your routine.

  • thanks we appreciate it.

  • All who wrote negative comments , they are pussy !

  • can you do these workouts everyday or every other day ?

  • if you're just starting out i would say every other day and start off with the basics, set yourself a goal and basic routine and follow that until you're ready to advance.

  • Ohhh wonderful !!!!

  • thanks

  • just jaw dropping. love the hand stand claps.

  • At what age did you start? I've been doing body weight exercises for a long time but I don't gain weight like you do. I go more the way of Bruce Lee. Dunno how you do it. Maybe genetics.

  • i've been doing it for several years now, but it's the DRIVE, DISCIPLINE, DEDICATION & DETERMINATION that i put into doing it, that's why it's so perfected.

  • riffado

  • Whats the song with the quitar?

  • Nice vid.

    Greatz from Solingen, germany

  • HIT !!!!

  • lol, they dont need to stress the water thing for me. living in phoenix, you habitually stick to it.

  • Um, wow. That's freakin crazy.

  • respect

  • holy shit. a clapping hand stand pushup wow.

  • I did not know some of the stuff he does was even possible.

  • o shit yeah negwoe

  • Got both of HIT's DVDs. They get me pumped every time I watch them, especially 'Above and Beyond the Bar'. Very inspiring!

  • Yeah I got them both, too. Been wantin to try the workout(beginner, of course, I'm nowhere near the level of the other DVD) but I got some weight to lose first. Was 290, down to 265 now, but still got a lot to go.

  • keep it up

  • Yeah, I got back into karate after 12 years, which helps keep me motivated and have a goal to shoot for. I'm the type of guy I need to know I'm getting in shape for a purpose, not just so I look good.

  • thanks.

  • No, it makes them smaller... *facepalm*

  • no I mean there is a difference between bulking up and being ripped. does this make you bulkier and ripped? or does it only make you ripped? you can be skinny and ripped.

  • it does both if you look each excersize contradcts the other muscles so yes it does rip them up but at the same time bulks them out... its better to do but takes alot longer. But stick to it and you will get better resluts :)

  • your right that it takes a long time. mike mentzers, yates styling training is probably the fast way to bulk up with pure muscle.

  • Bulked and Ripped...remember, our muscles don't know if we are lifting a barbell, dumbell, or our own body weight...all it knows is that there is heavy resistance against the muscle.

Just take a look at that guy and you will see what body weight exercises will do to muscles.

Scientific Studies have actually shown that a "Body-in-Motion," as opposed to a "Weight-in-Motion" is more effective at building muscle and strength.

Again...look to the guy...handstand clapping pushups? Incredible!

  • Indeed. That handstand cllapping push-up is crazy.

  • very very crazy

  • thanks.

  • fuck yes

  • It can, but that depends on your approach. There's 3 ways to work muscles: strength, hypertrophy, and endurance. Hypertrophy is where your muscles actually grow in size, but people often equate size with strength. I've seen a clip of this one dude Kali Muscle, he's cock diesel, like 230 lbs straight muscle, but on his pullups he can only go halfway. True strength on pullups is when you can consistently take your chin to the bar on each rep. As for being ripped, that calls for body fat loss too.

  • where did u get the dvd and what u got to buy to start working out

  • got it on Amazon, the set cost 25 bucks. That's was the cheapest I saw out of all the sites they list on their YouTube page.

As far as equipment, it's 100% bodyweight, you really don't need to buy anything. If you have access to a park/playground with pullup and dip bars and a bench, you pretty much have all you'll need. Maybe some gloves and a towel because you'll be on the ground on some exercises.

  • consider that there is also strength relative to ones bodyweight, and then strength relative to outer forces working against you. weight lifting will make you hella strong, but your control over bodyweight exercises will be pretty bad.

  • Excellent point, omxpablp19!! Look at guys like Bruce Lee. Pretty small guy in general - 5'7", 135 lbs, 165 when he REALLY hit the weights - but he worked his body both ways, and it paid off. Your body basically is built to adjust to what your throw at it, but you have to throw several things at it for maximum performance.

  • Nice. I couldn't have explained it better myself.

  • Oh, thanks man, appreciate it.

  • amazing nice vid

  • real simple and to the point. great vid. 5 stars! Peace!
