  • great playing

  • love it

  • nice work. what tuning is this in? DGDGBD? if u can, try to send me a tab.

  • Not bad! I like anything by Kottke. The guitar appears to be a Martin D-15 mahogany played in F? Are you using a capo on an E tuning? I can't tell if you're capoed. Anyway, Crow River Waltz is a good piece for anyone who wants to attempt Kottke.

  • My favorite :) You're at my house right now :P

  • may please have tabs...sounds nice

  • can u send me the tabs? Please :)

  • One of my favourite Kottke pieces which always 'gets to me'...just does something for me. He incorporated this track into a 3 part medley on the 'Live' album and I would love to hear you do that.

    Awesome!

  • hi, I'm from Slovenia, let me know you that I admire your skillness, aspeccially due to afact that my father is a fan of Leo Kottke for many years, or should I say decades.I hope you'll continue with your guitar skills, so the younger generation can also enjoy Leo's music in live. (Sorry if my English isn't so good)

  • Fantastic! Leo played this the first time I saw him play, way back in 1974. It's been one of my 5 favorites of his ever since. Beautiful rendition here. Totally cool that young guitarists like you are discovering Kottke's incredible material. Keep up the good work!

  • Thank you for the kind words. Seeing Leo Kottke in '74...wow! That must've been something. I plan on seeing Leo Kottke sometime soon; I've seen him play once before, but it was with Mike Gordon and I prefer Kottke's solo work. Thanks again!

  • Well done man. Any idea where i could get a tab for that? Nice guitar too, is that a martin?

  • Yep, D12X1. As for the tab, I believe I revised one in Guitar Pro. I'm not sure where that version is, but I do have the tab for Guitar Pro. If you don't use that, get back to me and we'll work something out.

    Thanks for the comment!

  • Thanks a lot!

  • As a long-time Kottke fan and guitarist, I really appreciate what you have learned here. Very nice.
