  • I want the 19' china.

  • WHY SO MANY PARAGON

  • @WALNUTWP

It's the Paragon kit, that's like 2000 dollars.

  • Do the hydrualic heads sound good???

  • Love the finish

  • lmao at 2:31 ur all like "ur gen ur generaaaahh". Generic? lollll :D nice drums and the cymbals r beast!!!

  • nice guitar case got the same one

  • Im a begginer of drumming may i ask what are batter heads?

  • They're the heads that you hit with the stick. The opposite head is called the resonant or reso head.

  • thnx for the info lildrummer1987

  • You Must Freaking HATE Paragon?! lol

    nice kit

  • fucking sexiest kit ever on fucking youtube right now

  • i love this color :P

  • witch cymbals in the paragon series do u NOT got? :D

  • I have the sam cow bell!

  • like paragon?

  • Yes I do

  • Dude, this drumkit is not awesome... Its the paradise of drums haha really beautiful kit congrats!!

  • Haha, thanks man!

  • did you buy the paragon set? thats like 2000 dolars!

  • Yup, but I bought them when they first came out so I only paid $1,700 for them. I took a chance on them cause I know if Neil Pert has his name on them they gotta sound good and they do!

  • U shud use ahead sticks

  • Nope, I'm a rimshot guy and they would break.

  • Trust me, they serious last 10 times longer than regular sticks. And when you think about it $80AUS is pretty cheap concidering that normally sticks cost $20-$30 each times that by 10 thats like $200-$300.

  • I also don't like the feel of them and rim shots on snare seriously do break them.

  • Its your choice im just syaing

  • Are u trying to sell him something..? Back off dude.

Awesome set! I'm thinking about the china really, how would you describe it? I like it's trashy sound but I'm not sure about how thick it is, might be too loud for me.

Anyway, love it all. :) Keep rockin' bro.

  • If you're concerned about volume go with a Wuhan cause the 19" Paragon china is very loud, thanks for the complements!

  • and you play vic firth! good choice dude. do you plan on becoming big with your drum playing?

  • Thanks man, to tell you the truth I think I lack the drive to get big unless something happens to my band and we get discovered.

  • the export sets come with nice color varieties. Nice pick of color! mine is grayish-black, added with sabian, dude you are set!

  • Check out my newer set :)

  • your kit rocks!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thanks! Well, it did anyway, now my new one kills small children.

  • i have a pearl elx kit. its pretty cool

  • Yeah, good drums for the money.

  • awsome kit

  • Thanks!

  • What kind of heads do you use now. Still Evans? I use Remo. I got them yesterday, put them on, tuned them up and they sounded great.

  • I'm using Evans EC2's now on my BRX. Congrats on the new heads.

  • great dum set dude!

  • Thanks!

  • nice bro, the paragon pack is like 2500, and thats 19 inch china is the best one i've ever heard, so i bought it too lol. it's great. again nice kit !

  • I got mine for $1,700 when they first came out, the demand for them went up and so did the price. Yes, the 19" china is one the best sounding china's I've ever heard as well.

  • amazing kit

  • i would recomend putting that tom u have back there where paragon case is becuz since its quick set up for gigs. but i recomend putting that one becuz u can get a nicer sound from high to low beleive me i tryed it with another kit i use at church wich is a pearl export and has the 14 inch tom with a ride stand with tom holder and a 16 inch floor tom next to it and sounds really nice tho needs new heads on 8 and 10

  • fucking hell man. ive got taht same kit in green. same measurements on all 8 drums. but it came 10 zildijian scimitars tho. i like them. but the paragon is a good cymbal. but to my point was 400 a good deal for all taht?

  • lol huge paragon fan eh, the whole thing looks so new, did u change all the heads just for this vid lol?

  • No, I just didn't hit very hard back then.

  • im too poor for my drumkit to be that nice. man thats nice kit

  • Just save up, you'll be surprised how much can save when you just do it lol. Thanks for the complement, I worked hard and saved up for it.

  • you dont need to be rich you can get a sponsor if the company thinks your good

  • That and you play a lot of shows where their name can be seen.

  • ...My kit is a verve, total shit.

  • Are you a Neil Peart fan??.. I am!!!

  • Yes I am too!

  • me want me want! do you have two hi-hats at the left or 1 hi-hat, 1 normal and 1 double bass

  • I have 1 standard hi-hat, 1 remote hi-hat, 1 double pedal.

  • you like paragon don´t you?

  • Yes, very much so.

  • Paragon WHORE!

  • Yup :)

  • the 19 inch china...its a beast, hahaha

very nice set, jeeze how much did you spend?

  • Well all in all that set totaled in around $4K at the most, my new one though is about $6K

  • how are the paragons? are they thick?

  • The Paragons sound beautiful, very musical but they're also very loud cause they're pretty thick but beautiful sound is uncommon in thicker cymbals so thats what makes these so great!

  • very nice kit man

  • Thanks!

  • daaaaaaaaang i want that so bad its amazing......u dont plan on selling it any time soone do u?

  • my custom kit i was talkin about or his?

  • new kit came 12 by 6 rack 13 by 6 rack 16 by 14 floor 20 by 18 bass 14 by 8 snare white fade white hardware offset lugs zildjian cymbals 21 ride 16 and 18 crashes 10 inch splash 18 china
  • Sweet dude! What's the brand?

  • spaun

  • Nice cymbals and hardware..!!

  • Thanks a lot! I have a new set, and new hardware now though. Pearl Masters Studio Birch w/all 2000 series hardware.

  • Cymbals = Ok.

Drums = Shitty peice of tosh with poplar shells.

Get a Sonor 3007, you'll feel much better.

  • I happen to love the cymblas and I have a Masters now but the 3007's are nice kit's, I always did like sonor drums but not their hardware.

  • that is one hell of a kit dude even the its a export. cymbals must of set you back.

  • Thanks man, the cymbals were very expensive, more than the kit itself lol.

  • what cymbals and drums did you use before the paragons and export and masters

  • I used Zildjian ZBTs with a CB Percussion starter kit, ah those were the days lol.

  • hehehehehehehe thats funny how longdid you use that kit?

  • for about 3 years

  • Do you really like the sound of every Paragon-cymbal, or are you just a huge fan of Neil Peart? ;)

  • The only one I don't like is the 20" china. On my new kit and setup I'm not even using it. Other than that, the Paragons are Godly cymbals.

  • nice drum set.u pretty much use Niel Pearts Paragon Series he made.nice cymbols and nice drum kit.u use and evans eq something in the front of ur bass drum wat do u use again im buying one but i just need to know wat its called thanx and nice video

  • Thanks! It's the Evans EQ4 I believe.

  • amazing kit:O:O

  • Thank you!

  • Pearl Masters Birch, Its the tour at the Top!

  • what do i search for it?

  • awsome tour. great detail and sweet ass kit!

  • Thanks! My new one is uploading as I type this so be sure to check that one out too.

  • sweet man, did u get the whole paragon set??

  • Thanks, yes I bought the whole set, it came with a free flight case.

  • extremly nice kit.. wana see u play it tho

  • I have TONS of videos on my profile of this set.

  • vc eh um babaca fudido e da agonia ouvir vc falando seu merda

  • that kits badass, love the color.

  • Thanks!

  • Get a tour of your new kit!

  • I know I need to do one.

  • I prefer remo

  • Remo make great heads, everyones got thier preference. I like Evans for this kit because they have the oil in between the plys. On my new kit I use Coated Evans because their coating last longer than Remo's, I can wear the coating off a Remo head in one gig.

  • What age are you cause you must have made alot of money for that kit

  • I'm 20, I did a lot of saving up.

  • why dont u go 10 12 14 16 on the toms? i think thats better for a 6 peice

  • I liked the 16 and 18 floor toms too much lol.

  • what is that cord with the pedal and the cord is going to the hi-hat?

  • It's the Pearl Eliminator Remote Hi-hat

  • what can you do with it?

  • You can position the pedal and the hi-hat anywhere you want them.

  • awesome set man....i have a pearl exr..with sabian b8s....paragons rock! wish i had a kit like yours

  • with sabian b8 cymbals!

  • you lucky! i wish i had thatn kit!~

  • It's not that much money except for the cymbals, too bad they discontinued this line for the Vision series (the standard EX is still available though, just not the ELX) but the Vision's are great drums, even better than the ELX's.

  • i have a pearl exr in strata blue awesome!

  • i have the same kit dude

still waiting for the other bass drum for a nice double bass kit

  • Nice, it'll look sic!

  • i like the color of your drums...

  • Thanks!

  • thats sweet man =] i love it...your lucky to have tose cymbals theyre ace =]

  • Thanks, I do consider myself fortunate for all the gear I own. I've been blessed with not having many bills so I can afford nice gear.

  • curious.. on the 16" crashes which one is higher pitched the left side or the right?

  • They are actually the same pitch, I got them in a pack so I really didn't get to choose them.

  • thats rare... pretty cool tho... so you have 2 for flexibility then?

  • Yeah, it's pretty cool

  • i like ur kit how much did u spend all with cymbals and heads and the kit itself

  • great cymbal setup dude

  • wooow your cymbals are great, so shiny

  • dude your drum et is so freakin sexy

  • Thanks, check out my new one (the BRX). It'll make yuou cream your pants, lol.

  • lol i hope i dont cream em cuz i have on those gay sports pants lmao

  • Lol! :D

  • it would be nice to hear u play somethin too u shud post a playing vid

  • I have A LOT of playing vids, just click on my username, go to the "My Videos" section on my profile and you're there.

  • Lol, its a beast.

  • What? It is. lol

  • You can never put oo much money into a kit. ;)

  • nice kit, you probly play funk and rock judging by your choice of hydraulic skins

nice cymbals too i like the sound of the paragons but i play death metal and id be afraid to put those paragons on my death metal kit, im also a jazz drummer, i have aax's on my death metal kit and hhx's on my jazz kit. overall i like your set up man. Props

  • javodisforia

wuhew - just won the idiot of the world prize :D

nice kit and nice explanation =)

  • LOVE IT!

  • nice not the way i would set it up tho

  • dude i like how u know your drums not like some wanabes who dont know a b8 sabian from an a custom zildgian

  • ya, but the "wanabes" probably know how to spell 'Zildjian'

  • too bad you suck

  • Hey man you should do a tour for your BRX! Pleeeeeease?

  • Yes I should, sometime soon.

  • 2112 niel peart cymbal set i see?

  • Oh my fucking god! You cant be serious, it was exactly the same kit I was looking, the only difference I wanted was the sizes of the toms! The cymbals, the EXL kit in cobalt fade! Thats SWEET! SELL IT TO ME!

  • i was right they are Paragons! nice choice...love the kit man now i gotta find out what clutchs and remotes are *noob*

  • Remote hi-hats have a pedal which is attached to a cable. On the other end of the cable is a hi-hat holder. This allows you to place your pedal any where and place your hi-hat anywhere. If you noticed, I hade a third pedal all the way to the left but the other hi-hat was on the other side of the kit. A clutch is what holds the top cymbal of the hi-hat.

  • @ Cheerwine: the remote is an extra hihat machine, not with it's own stand though, but with a cable which allows you to mount the cymbaly anywhere in range of that cable but leave the pedal in a comfortable position! And the dropclutch is used for closing the hats when playin double bass patterns, just hit the switch with a stick ;-)

  • k thanks man...

i have a clutch now, my parents bought me a Mapex hi hat stand (flippin' sweet!) now all i need is a double bass pedal : )

  • I like the kit, as always. Glad you got rid of the hydras on your new kit though.

    -u2johnny from da pdf

  • Thanks. Of course no hydraulics on the BRX, it would choke and destroy the beautiful tone it has.

  • Evans make a 2 ply head that has a thin layer of oil in between the plies of the head. This muffles the head a little getting rid of overtones and makes the drum sound deeper and warmer, it dampens the volume though. They are called Evans Hydraulic heads and they come in different colors if you want.

  • wats with the hydraulic tuning thing how do they work

  • ah right on, see i play an Evans EMAD batter and it sounds nice, and also has a foam ring, is that similar to remo's product? or is it something that can be added to any head? and hey good english regardless!

  • The Remo Muffle is a plastic tray that has foam inside it. It goes underneith the head of the drum. I have an Evans EMAD on this kit now, I like it much better.

  • A Remo muffle is a ring made of, well, what is it...? some kind of foam, don't know the word in English, which you put on your bassdrum head to keep the sustain of the drum low and dry.

  • remo muffle? is that the official name of that? if i just misheard, what is it??

  • dude, you're really lucky to live in the U.S.. Here in Germany, I'd surely pay €3000 for the complete Paragon setup (which equals about $3000!). Luckily I prefer a smaller setup with only two crashes, one china, a splash and a ride on a 5-piece kit. So it wasn't that expensive for me! ;) Still couldn't afford Paragons.

Nice setup, you got there! Do you use your remote hihat often?

  • I'm grateful that I live here, I hear about how much people over there pay all the time, I feel bad about it. I really don't use it to much, but it's better on the kit than just sitting in the case.

  • Did you just buy the paragon set? Lol, that must've set you back a bunch.

  • Yes, they are worth every penny. I paid $1,700 for them back when they sold for that much, I believe they are $2,200 now due to high demand.

  • Nice se dude, I prefer Ludwig drums and Zildjian cymbals, but Pearl and Sabian is some good stuff, awesome set up.

  • well done man...beautiful set up, youll get a lifetimes worth of enjoyment outta that....2 chinas??? Holy shit...lol Well done again.

  • Thanks man, I need to do a new one for my BRX, my current set.

  • thanks for replying. If u wanna see my video, (im a drummer in progress, you make me look like a beginner)the link is,

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wBJJA7eQ0ek

  • is the paragon set really worth $2000? i got 8 zildjians and 2 sabians and bout em all seperate for a lot cheaper.i like them a lot.

  • very very nice dude. how much was it all together? and how much were all the cymbals together?

  • Thx a lot!

You have one amazing set! Gratz! ^^

  • Dude, perfect!

I'm from Brasil, and the Sabian's cymbals are so much expensives here!

How much did you payed for your 19" china that you keep on your right?

I'm asking couse the prices here are unfair!

Oh yes, where are you from?

I'm plainig to travel to buy cymbals, I wanna know if it's worth while!

    Thx a lot! =)

  • I bought all of the cymbals at once. I got the complete Neil Pert setup that comes with a flight case. I got it here in the USA before the price went up for about $1,700. They now cost about $2,100 due to high demand. They are absolutely amazing cymbals! I'm pretty sure the 19" china retails for about $210.

  • wait...wat kinda set its it...Pearl Export?...EMX..ElX..EX?..wat kind?

  • awesome set
