400m64.0058.00 middle school 2009 track and field lol stats lol u see it bitch lol and i really did and ran a 10.5 my 10th grade year look up record before u try and clown lol look at my vid of me runin and u clock me out of shape lol bitch im 190 now use to be 155 in track shape hit a 10.8 without track shoes and starting block ill post track vids up next spring lol
dude stfu ur not funny. ur probably a retarded 8 yearold making that shit up. i bet u dont even know that the world records over 40 seconds so go fuck urself
no i know that... its like 42 somthin, and the only reason i said that was cause theres a bunch of exaggerating their times... im in 10th grade and i run a 56 second 400 and a 2:04 800 my 2 events :P so dont be jealous :P haha lol
this is the first year my school has indoor, so im trying that... haha im doing ok i guess, my 800 time is alittle slower, but my 1000 and 600m are ok i guess.... my 1000 time is a 2:43 and my 600 is a 1:30
lol theres a huge difference between 7th grade ad 8th grade. went from 98 pounds to 135 and grew a foot. believe me its possible and i trained alot harder.
Yo guys, track and field involves a lot of seirous training, but when you're runnin with the big dogs, it's talent. No amount of running is gonna make 1 in a million run a 45 400. when i was a senior, i ran 1:52 in 800, but i wasn't even good when i got to college. run for yourself, don't compare yourself to these guys.
its possible. a freshman in div 1 cif ss masters qualifying meet ran 48 something, i think he won his race too. i was astonished cause i thought getting a 50 was good as a senior. Its kids like jeremy wariner or bryshon nellum that get these crazy times in highschool and such.
for being 13, that isn't bad at all but your comparative success all really depends on the size of your school/conference. I'm a senior in high school, run about a 54.5 and usually finish first and if not then definitely second.
Since you say your 5'4, your time will get much better with age, as you'll get taller and longer strides which are HUGE in 400's since the first 200-300 meters depends heavily on long-striding.

its not about how tall you are, its all about your endurance and turnovers are [turnovers being how fast you can put your foot down and bring it up again] a friend of mine is 5'0 and ran 47s so dont even think its about height just most of them are tall...
You know, I'll believe lc400matt with his 48, too. Two guys in Region 8-AAAA ran that speed here in high school, and we're not exactly the quality region. It's believable bc there's a difference in the 5 seconds btw 53 and 48 and the 5 btw 48 and 43. Those last two seconds are where the champions are. Slower than 45, and you're lucky to get your feet in the far left corner of the camera as Wariner rolls in. lol
But 41 flat at 4'8 and 210, in 7th grade no less? Surely you mean 200 meters. Come on, have you ever even looked at any IAAF website? Know anything about Johnson's 43.19WR?!! Do your research to avoid making yourself looking like a complete idiot. Your middle school gym was a lot smaller than a 400m track, dude.
I'll believe the 53 in 8th grade. It's impressive, but there's a lot of natural ability out there, and early puberty happens. I'll believe the 49.1 as a freshman in college. If it was in high school, the kid's a straight-up badass, but still possible.
i think its funny the person who said that they ran a 50.5 after runnin the 100/200/ and 4x1. If that dipshit knew nething... the 400 comes before the 200, and why he runs the 100 instead of the 4x4 is beyond me. o well im a sub 2 min 800 runner and i run a 50.9 so i aint complainin ye dig
yah, especially if your a girl, cause im and 8th grader and you have to get 1:04 to make it to state and be in the top 2 to qualify @ sectionals. i bet many people on here are lying about their times
ive run a 48 flat, and then my dreams had gotten stomped on since the coach at my college got fired and took scholarships from EVERYBODY off the team, so yah...48.00 and i was 18! at the time
yeh im sorry that was really rough. I was just used to reading all the intense times. Yours are not bad and if you keep it up you could really improve. I encourage you to keep running and i apologize for my unnecessary outburst. I never wanted to discourage a runner. Good luck
Looking at some of these comments and I saw some idiot say they ran a 48.1 their sophomore year in high school... you must think we are all idiots. Unless of course you have proof or something along those lines. Then I saw someone say they ran a 65.something... wow, are you the average american? If so, I think you should stick to football. I'm only a sophomore in High School and I run this (400M Open) after running a 200/100/4x1 semi's and still manage a 50.5.
^^ 99.9 is a stretch lol. Go watch any high school track meet and you'll almost always find someone at least breaking 60 seconds. 65 is not bad though. If you practice your pace, you can whittle your time down by around 6-8 seconds. Beyond that, it's pure athleticism.
HOLY CRAP!! I just ran yesterday at an invitational event only a freakin 65.4 JESUS!! THATS UNHOLY!! I know that they had had to of sold their souls or something because jesus there is just no way lol.
