According to their poorly documented study, 20,000 jobs = 10,000 temporary jobs for 2 years, and that number still includes Canadian jobs. And, by the way, the oil wouldn't be for domestic use; it would be exported from Port Arthur to the highest international bidder.
This oil is not for the USA. If it was the oil would go to a Midwestern refinery where it would lower gas prices to 15 midwestern states by .20¢ a Gallon.

Oil is around 200 000 miles combined. over half of that delivers already refined product. 50 000 miles are gathering pipeline that collects small amounts of crude ranging from 2 to 8 inch pipe
The last 50 000 miles is large transmission lines of crude oil, which is what is being discussed

Bitumen is a very gritty, sandy product that will be much more corrosive to the pipeline than other petroleum products, thus the greater the risk of a pipeline rupture.

Global warming is a myth to put a clamp on industry and curtail production. By limiting oil production, oil companies can charge more for oil. Similar to cfc freon when it was outlawed. The freon stockpiles increased like 10 fold in value. BTW I Hate iPhone autocorrect.

@OnenessNow The water Table is located up to hundreds of feet under ground, Oil is thousands of feet. Im not saying it doesnt happen and your wrong, just wondering why an oil company would hydrolically fracture in the water table thousands of feet above where the oil is. .
