  • I think Cesar's question has sense not only if you see it as spontaneity for using those structures but also if you take the french example: We, spanish and english speakers, know the simple past and we use that structure commonly, but even when the past simple structure exists in French, it is not really common that people use it (I know you Steve already knew this, but some people may not). Bye!
