The acting in this movie is amazing, and Natalie Portman is an unbelievably talented actress. That being said, I find it really sad and frustrating that this movie was even made. A marriage is something sacred, and making a movie about "the other woman" and about her struggles is ridiculous. Movies like this make adultery seem like something that is acceptable. If a person is unhappy in their marriage, they should get a divorce before even looking for other options PERIOD.
I just watched this dvd today and to be honest, the only reason I rented it from redbox was because of Natalie Portman -- she won me over in Black Swan. To say I loved it would be an understatement because, as I have been "the other woman" and could relate to everything she was going through. Rent it...you will be pleasantly surprised!
Whats the melody that plays after the baby dies -> it starts around 45 seconds and lasts till 1.05. It's just got a piano part/ violin? PLEASE TELL ME. SUCH A BEAUTIFUL MELODY.
It looks good. Nice cast. Clearly they are capitalizing on Portman's likely Oscar win by releasing this now, and that's fine. Too bad since it's being released by IFC it will be a limited release. Will have to see it when it hits Blu-ray I guess.

Good/bad thing? I know that if my husband cheated on me and fell in love with another woman that I would be severely damaged. But either way, many will fall in love with this movie. I know this trailer made me cry the first time I watched it too lol.
