I think you made a fantastic song incredibly mediocre with your sub-par thought processes...do you know what it takes to make a music video? A STORYLINE...something you obviously do not grasp. Here is a tip...watch a five minute video on "how not to suck" and make it again. I'm a veteran of Iraq and I do not take lightly the lyrics Maynard is singing about. If you recall, Maynard was a Staff Sergeant in the Army, so he might know a thing or too as well. I'm dismayed I even watched this...
i think that the part that say's and so once again america my dear friend is missing tha guy that made this video should concider why he made a video without that part. We averyone need to look inside us and realise that when we demand we must realise what have we done to change the present situation. The wars do not stop on them selfs we stop them. We need to demand piece it's not enough to just want.Sorry for my spelling and if it's hard to get what i mean greek is my mother language
I cut the sequence because I made this video for other reasons. it did not fit to the way I felt that time. I wanted to free the track from the fix "america" part (only for me). I see that it is surely missing. so excuse or go. greets
The truth hurts. This after the Pentagon announced the milestone 4,000 death of American soldiers. Over 1 million Iraqis have died, there are 5 MILLION Iraqi ORPHANS. 30, thousand confirmed wounded American soldiers. When Joni Mitchell first sang this we were in the middle of Vietnam. We have never learned. "When Will We Ever Learn?" Too long passing...
No.. its not natural for humans to be violant. We were perfect people. and everyone should realize. That the color of the skin doesnt matter or the things we believe. We are all Humans! And If We live together we must get along.
Perfect? Perfection is defined by ones opinion and we obviously have very different definition of the word.
With so many different individuals living in this world its impossible for them all to be perfect, by my definition at least. In your perfect world can everyone eat? because in this world we simply don't have enough resources.
(Don't take that the wrong way, its simply how the world is, for me atleast.)
Are We All Not Human? Therefore We Are The Same. Noones Moving Over To Let Anyone Else In. So We Must Atleast Have Some Sort of Common Standard were We Can All Get ALong With Out People Hating One Another. But People Dont Care For One Another And If We Atleast Tried To Put On Foot Forward We Could Make A Difference But No One Tries Cuz They Only Care For Their Own Ass!
We are all human, thats what makes us different to one another, if we where all dogs then i would concider us the same. if people try and be what they are not then they are stupid and unnatural, I don't care only for myself, but everything that exists, that i interact with, is there for me to judge and opinionate, prehaps a bit of solipsism comes to mind, but i like to think i'm a realist. Without hate theres no love, its a simple concept which might sound naive but is extremely true.
i don't agree, the problem is not numbers, this world and our intelectual capacity are much capable of finding resources for all humanity not one human being excluded AND without HARMING our own planet in the way. i think the problem is not about resources but irresponsability, greed, and the tremendous amount of power condenced in a few bunch of stupid people... i live ina country that can feed almost 100 times its population and yet there are people starving to death. so don't say its natural.
How many meals have you had today? Any snacks? got an ipod? you obviously have a computer and internet, i don't mean to call you a hypocrite, you bring a good point, we are greedy and selfish, but the main word in that is 'we' not them or they. People are the problem, and from your statement i must ask. do you believe global warming is harming the planet, or us? cause i see it as the planets solution and our downfall based on simple logic. (once again, just aiming at argument not dissing you :D)
How much food we are given is what we are expected to eat. What technology we have been shown is what we are expected to buy. Humans could have had an oppurtunity to love peacefully in everyone's own separate lifestyles, because without knowledge of how everyone else is faring, of their religions, of their habits, peace could be kept almost simply, but with 6 billion humans, all animals and the earth to consider, peace is impossible as it is seen differently to everyone. That's just my opinion:)
the blame pics fitting perfecly, i see u like art, me too. great song, but good vid, respect, but could have been even better, keep it up, maybe put some B/W stuff from Nihei, David Ho, Giger, Beksinski or Yerka maybe, i think that would fit great.
not comparing sharing.....check out the original by joni mitchell solo vocals also very good . I guess no one got the messages this song only been around 4 approx. 35 years or so. I will trade fiddles 4 drums.
no, it is Maynards voice on top of 2 other Maynards (if that even makes ense). They recorded the song with him singing at different keys but at the same tempo. Which is how you get the choir like harmony, it but yeah, it is all Maynard.
I haven't realy found something about other performers there then maynard. three options: first: the small backgroundvoice is someone from APC who A: Realy sings with him or B: Sometimes just whispers^^. Third: This is maynard an a short-delayed echo, a little pitche, but i dont think.
whats the painting where the dudes holding his face walking on a bridge, it says oh my friend how did u come to trade the fiddle for the drum. ive seen that painting before and its badas...btw nice video. maynard's a fuckin badass
it was not made to match the message of the song. it was mad to combine some more views to the lyrics. But i am proud on an E+, thank you. this was my very first one.
Very well done - Maynard and A Perfect Circle's wonderful a capella singing of what could almost be a folk song doesn't hurt, but your video was thoughtful and was appropriately from the heart. Thank you for creating and sharing.

Its human nature to turn to violence, A product of greed mostly, but hey thats how life works.
Just gotta learn to accept it as one of gods own flaws and protect ourselves from the blame.

Wrong, If we where all the same we could settle for peace. Watch equilibrium some time, it might help you understand a bit.
