Go to ian duncan smith page on wikipedia -the talk section contains inquest reports where juries have found disabled people HAVE committed suicide because of ATOS cuttingoff their benefits - one in a wheelchair stuck her head down a fucking drain to kill herself ! The other was a war veteran with a disabled wife, who was having to walk 12 miles once a week to get a hot meal at the salvation army - all suicides listed there....

I never thought that the pace of cuts would be so fast-paced & so deep, with Cameron, but 2 incessantly pick & scrape off the poor & vulnerable's already pityful income, is just pathetic, even by his standards. The gap between very wealthy & poor continues 2 widen, & Cameron picks on defenseless people 2 recoup money that the bankers gambled away.

Here is the problem. Theyw ant to many people taken off benefits to save a certain amount of money. They dont give a f*ck how they save this money, or if those they boot off benefits are sick or even die. All they want is to say we want x amount of people off benefits so ATOS then set's that target for them regardless of your real medical condition.

Take Atos to court for compensation. This is an attack on the vulnerable which is so... easy to do. There surely must be solicitors able and willing to take these cases to court..

@rodden1953 Yes, he did, but this gvt significantly tightened up the ATOS medical test criteria, & considerably increased the numbers of people, on incapacity benefit, being processed for esa - 11,000 people per week. Because Cameron thinks that the public is on his side, he keeps pushing: cutting at this benefit & that benefit. The top 1% rich saw their incomes increase by 49%, last year.

@mikeoxsmells I think you ought to practice what you preach about learning to read my friend....at no point in my comment did I have a go at you....I was just pointing out to you that I would love to have a job I could sustain....the employment service did bugger all to help me...I actually worked installing water pipes in renovated houses and digging out trenches by Hand AFTER I came out of hospitaI...which eventually aggravated the problem...unable to keep up I was "made redundant"...

@colinclarke1000 i have a similar story , not directly with jobcenter but with the state , i am an enginerr and had worked for the same company for 13 years when suddenly my knee gave up on me , the disgraceful nhs service to which i have always been a PAYING CUSTOMER took 12 months before operating on my knee , id had so much time off i was made redundant during that time , they ballsed the op up and i ended up goin private , jobcenter , nhs + scum , ps thankfully im employed again lol

@MikeOxsmells My son has a complex learning disability. He has no medical issues and I am worried sick that once he goes onto ESA when he leaves college in May that he will be expected to work. He currently works voluntarily one day a week. He cannot read or write, he struggles to follow instructions and cannot remember more than one thing at a time and sometimes struggles with that. I don't think that the cuts are all directed at those who cannot work

today ive been told im no longer able to claim dla as theres nothing wrong with me, as theyve based their decision on my medical from last september which was for my e.s.a, which i fought against and took to a tribunal and won but now dla are deciding from that same report? in the meantime im sat here have been crying uncontrollably all day and just want to kill myself now and have done with it, and the letter id leave would simply say" tell the goverment/prime minister thanks for killing me"
