What I love about The Vampire Diaries is that even though Damon, as the bad guy, should be hated, the viewers can't because he has some moments like this one. And they finally make you love Damon, not because he's hot or funny, but because is good after all. And it's not just about TVD, it's about every movie or series that have characters like Damon.
