  • you sir are a genius and a lifesaver! thank you for sharing.

  • Saw the video, great idea, but my glue must have been so much stronger than the one in your videos. It took a mini-sledge hammer to get the pry bar under it. Tried the saws-all, I could get the saw blade under the floor, but it would just stop at hard parts of the glue. Went with the pry-bar on looser pieces, and used a Spyder Scraper in the saws-all to get the tougher ones, worked better than the 9" blade. I did cut the floor prior and it did make it easier. Thanks for posting!

  • @gastoddart Thanks for the comment. Your glue must have been more apoxy like than the tacky glue that I had. I have tried using the scraper blade that Milwaukee makes for the sawzall, but found that it seemed to break quickly. Glad to hear you've got the floor up.

  • great video definately gonna try it when takingout our old wood floor!

  • Thanks for the comment. I did make cuts with my circular saw into the hardwood about every 2 feet to a depth of the concrete. This may not be clear in the video. The main purpose of the sawzall was to free the wood from the adhesive.

  • use a skillsaw and cut sections accross. that will be a lot faster.
