This is my favourite Travis Tritt song. I love the lyrics 'my daddy was a wild on, when he was younger everybody told my mama hed be hard to tame. full of himself, said sir to nobody, but you aught to see him come running when mama calls his name'. i paused the video and wrote that from memory, so it may be wrong here or there, but when i hear those lyrics no matter where i am or what im doing i have to smile. does anyone know what album this is from?

The more I get older the more I appreciate the deeper meaning of songs like these that Travis Tritt sings. Forget the big snappy fast moving songs it is these ballads that are the soul of Country Music. I would suggest tot he younger generations today listen and listen again to songs like these. You too will appreciate the deeper meanings. Especially songs like "Where Corn Don't Grow" and "Foolish Pride". Those songs have "Proverbial meaning".
