  • I agree, that is why I do not sell YTB

  • Good work. I love this business anyone can reach their dreams. I don't know who owns the Great American traveler package. It is put in to the Coastal Vacations Memberships, but I have no idea who runs it, never needed to know. As long as I can use it and save money, that's all I need to know.

  • There are a lot cheaper ways of selling travel legitimately, and getting MORE in commission than signing up with YTB (which costs more than $1,000 the first year alone).

  • I don't know Jerry, like I said, The Great American Traveler must have sold it as Jerry wasn't the owner. As to memberships, great job, I know it's hard, however you're still 1.2 million behind what I sold, and I did that in 3 years, just as long as you now have been doing it.

  • I personally know Jerry Duetch, the owner of inteletravel.

I educated myself and learned how I can assist people with travel needs and values, that is how I sold over 1.8 million in memberships of Coastal in 3 years.

Just booked a Disney Cruise for next summer out of LA and we earned $1500 in commissions.

Annette069 I guess you have proven you are smarter than me cause you got an education in travel agencies.... so what?

  • It was always a MLM company on selling memberships. Being that you have added IATAN cards is a spin on it that they might not approve as you have been with them only 1 1/2 years, and obviously not part of the current ownership I'll probably guess.

  • goldmills, let me give you some info on a product you're selling that I helped start in 1991. This originally started as The Great American Traveler a travel club in Salt Lake City Utah with myself, and Bill Smith who helped put this together, and a golf book as well. We had it up to over 3 million members back in 1994 and the owners brought a nice big building. Somewhere down the line they must of sold it to Coastal Vacations or changed the name.

  • So in other words you had no education and no experience before you signed up to earn your millions in travel. You do know that posting videos to solicit business and signups is against the youtube terms of service right?

  • It's the association of Retail Travel Agents. (ARTA)

  • Intellitravel is endorsed it seems by canival, royal caribbean, club med, and an group called ARTA (I know of ASTA) what is ARTA? Same thing different people?

  • Inteletravel has been around for 11 years. Well respected in Travel circles.

I did not do an internship.

  • I've been a travel agent for many more years than that. If they're giving you the IATA card with membership then that's a sure way for them to get shut down as that's clearly against the rules. As for getting educated, I actually went to school to become a travel agent. I did an internship with an actual agency. I learned about the back end accounting and debit memos and the things that can go wrong that you get whacked financially for. Did you?

  • I have been a travel agent for over 1.5 years. With Inteletravel, we get IATA Card with membership.

There is more info about the travel agency you can read here:

    inteletravel dot com/affiliates.cfm?aid=A109100&page=home

  • Well, $3000 is nothing to sneeze at (well at least for me). I am interested and checked out the site, so I can recruit others under me and also sell travel and book my own AND get a dicount with the IATA card. The investment seems reasonable.

And to be honest, it seems the card may be the best perk of it all. Personally when I travel I like to travel on a champane taste with a beer budget LOL

  • Intelligent? Right Information? May I direct you to the IATA site which clearly states the requiremenets of a person applying for an IATA card. iatan (dot) org/pdf/126.pdf

I will agree with you in that there are the haves and the have nots. I just dont think you belong to the group you are claiming to belong to.

How long have you been a "Travel Agent"?

  • No, that is not true. Another mis informed person who will not take the time to get the proper education.

Such is life on the internet.

There are the haves (right information)

and the have nots (have not the right info and just go off with incorrect info)

If you are gonna post here, post intelligently.

  • Wow what a deal! Seriously people how gullible do they think people are? This is a SCAM... nothing more! You have to EARN an IATA card. You dont just GET one. This is an MLM "opportunity" not a travel agency.

  • Reall? Documented? Like what does that mean? I wish the "I hate making money online" people would do their research about things before they just post comments that have no validity.

Becoming a travel agent, we booked an Alaska Cruise for 5 cabins, our agent commission is $3000. Man that is a total scam huh?

    Get a life

  • Another scam "make millions with no work" pitch. And this guy is documented!

  • Where did I tell people you dont work? huh? This is a business, people WORK in a business to sell services and products.

  • Oh great they're pushing MLM scams on youtube now! Sorry folks but these things don't give you the benefits they promise, they just take your money and get you to sign up more people.

  • so even tho I have $22,000 in my personal documented savings, you'll just make an assumption this is all some tweaked out scam, and that weve been around for 14 years, so that makes it definitely a scam? ok, ya.. i think I see yourpoint.. which is... you have no idea what you are talking about.
