@IuTiubTM There are 45 skeet's if i remember correctly, Each skeet finds a target and when all targets in the area have to targeted, skeet's that don't have a target just detonate at the same height as the rest.

@vvsector1 Actually,...not too much. The slug hitting the ground will kick up more debris then when it hits armor on what is effectively an empty hulk. The apparent impact is rather underwhelming in fact,...unless you happen to be the one hit. And you'll see some wastage anyhow as the 40 skeets are thrown to provide even coverage over an area a mechanized company would cover. But every target out there took at least one hit, and one usually all you'll need.

@vvsector1 Well you're not going to see huge explosions. 1) this isn't a Hollywood movie so no big gas-fueled fireballs, 2) the targets are empty hulks, so no fuel and ammo to cook-off, and 3) the kill-mechanism for an EFP 'skeet' is a high-velocity metal slug and visually it doesn't seem impressive (no explosive, just a slug). But the damage inside the target can be rather ugly, not to mention something like a half-sized coffee can being able to punch through AFV armor is impressive in itself.

@MorganKeyes To emphasize this point. Most tanks are *not* destroyed in fantastic Hollywood style explosions. When a tank is hit by AP shot it it would appear from the outside to seem very underwhelming. The real horror is inside the vehicle though. With spalling killing the crew and occasionally getting lucky enough to cook off ammo in the vehicle.

@stricke318 It depends on the country. USA doesn't prohibit their use but a few NATO countries do not use them. Many of said NATO countries also follow the Geneva Convention which does not outlaw the use of cluster bombs.
