  • "See what free men can do."

  • You guys are not actually seeing the point of this commercial... It is giving a rescue scenario that is really dramatic and farfetched, but then turns it into a more realistic scenario with actual aircraft and jobs that the air force has.... but you guys are just too stupid to see that. Sorry

  • My tax dollars paid for this CGI fraud and faulty disclaimer? Aurora isn't real, but a transformer jumbo jet and medical scanner is "everyday?".

  • This recruiting commercial is the biggest crock of shit I've ever seen. I spent four years as and active duty regular and another 4 1/2 in the reserves, all as a flyer, as an ESO or a weapons systems operator. The Air Force doesn't have a clue as to how to face the 21st century, and these science fiction videos don't help. They need to get rid of a lot of their bullshit, change it. They don't even know what uniform they're gonna wear. I hope nobody buys into this chcikenshit.

  • They do THAT every day? Do they think that American youth are stupid?

  • "only in Hollywood"

  • are they implying that eventually US cities will look like bombed out war zones???????

  • @337225ty It will become that sooner or later.

  • Does no one here understand that the futuristic look of the plane in most of the commercial is a clever metaphor meaning that what people think of as science fiction, as impossible today with today's technology, is actually possible with today's technology? I'm ashamed to call myself American, if I'm the only fucking person that understands that fact.

  • @theskitzoone I think the technology etc.is just for flare but what they are trying to convey is that everyday the AF is saving lives using modern technology (However so exaggerated). So it isn't science fiction that they do this (Saving Lives) everyday. But I do see the point you are making. Just that the technology used in this video, as well as the situation is 'science-fiction' (Though possible) but the more important message is it doesn't matter what you use, as long as you're saving lives!

  • @KingGoomba19 That's what i just said.

  • @theskitzoone 1st of all, nothing personal. I'm from Central America and I'm not ashamed to call myself American... I really doubt that the people from South America are ashamed as well..... but what I think might be really shameful is having North Americans believe they are the only Americans.... and in your case theskitzooone I believe you are ashamed of your fellow North Americans. America is a whole hemisphere of the planet, please stop using the American term incorrectly.

  • @00DjAlien00 The USA is the only country in the Americas which uses the term "America" in its official name. Many peoples of the world are called by names which are rather arbitrary and could describe people of different nationalities.

  • Inter Arma Enim Silent Leges

  • where was the Military during hurricane katrina when people needed them? Random folks were able to walk through the water if they had to during the storm but they couldnt send rescue teams on boats?

  • @taporsnap1326 Pararescuemen airlifted thousands of people during Katrina. Google it.

  • @hester23x not until thousands died, not until days after the storm. This commercial implies that these guys come and help you when you need it the most when the problems are going on. Not days after the worst has come and gone.

  • @taporsnap1326 So you want the military to send in rescue teams in the middle of a category 4 hurrricane? When the people were clearly warned of the dangers and told to evacuate?

  • @hester23x nope, but the day after would of been nice. or the day after that.

  • @taporsnap1326 They were there the day after. Look up " Hurricane Katrina Disaster Relief "

  • This is not science fiction, Pj's, STS and combat control do this everyday.

  • lol worst ad ever

  • what type of plane is that and does it really transform like that

  • haha this is totally science fiction. The lying has spread from lying in person to bold face lying in the commercials. They should take some notes from marine corps commercials. At least they're not fake like these.

  • @LeroyJenkins1988 Marines? when marines, rangers and seals need to call 911 for help the call Airforce spec ops.

  • @TH7596 I can see you're a young boot civilian who's taking the word of the recruiter as the Gospel. I also see your name on the comments page quite a bit which reinforces my theory and shows that you are defensive about the Air Farce. I said Marine commercials are better I didn't say anything about who uses what.

FYI Marines and seals use their own choppers in case you didn't know that. That's why they have aircraft carriers and assault ships. I encourage you to use Google sometime.

  • the first part is obviously science fiction... the commercial making people are trying to show that it may seem like science fiction but it's not...

what i mean is that the air force rescue people do that stuff shown in the video just without the hologram sensor stuff. The airforce isn't trying to say they have shape shifting aircraft, but that the science fiction aircraft in the beginning is actually like the real one shown at the end. if this makes any sense lol

  • These ads always look like video game ads. Then the ending surprises me.

  • this is completely true

  • I have trouble believing that jets like that really exist. If they don't, then why the lie? They make it out to be like some cool movie or video game. Being in the military is NOT a movie or video game.

  • lololol what a load of shit

  • ... its bad ass! Lol, as a foreigner to the US... at least it isn't as crappy as the bloody Army Strong commercials.. now the British army commercials are the best though!

  • lol, I love when my jet transforms it makes being a crew chief pretty tough though because I have to constantly update my training record.

  • The title says it all complete propaganda I feel bad for the kids who join the Air Force who think they are going to do something cool and end up in some crappy job. Hell it's hard to even enlist in the Air Force being that there are never any recruiters at the station haha.

  • @iamironcap Propaganda is just a fancy way of saying government advertisement. Nothing really wrong with it. But this advert is straight up ridiculous.

  • @iamironcap True story. I had to drive 2.5 hours to see an AF recruiter. Now, after working a crappy desk job for a year and a half, the AF decided to loan me out to the Army (who actually needs more troops) to ride in a convoy and play soldier. Definitely not in the ads. Oh well, beats flipping burgers or asking if "you want fries with that?" I think the Army needs to take some notes from the AF on how to advertise though.

  • @aftamath86 If the Army knew how to advertise they wouldn't need to borrow you from the Air Force.

  • @aftamath86 You weren't qualified for any real Airforce position. You can't fly, maintain you're useless in the AF.

  • @TH7596 Cool troll bro. You've shown everyone that you don't know dick about the Air Force.

  • @aftamath86 LOL Ok, whatever you say that makes you feel useful.
