  • Oh my god ... Snuffy is SO high...

  • "Where does today meet yesterday?... Cleveland?... No... No..."

  • How long after this 1983 airing did it take for Snuffy to no longer be an imaginary friend of Big Bird's?

  • Long Live George Washington!!!!

  • RIP George Washington

  • FTW

  • OMG!

  • LOL

  • Long Live TMMOA!!!!

  • Poor Bert

  • @cstoczyn At least Ernie didn't pull his nose off this time.

  • @KingSnarf Which Is A Good Thing, Right?

  • Big Bird: Rome wasn't built in a day

Prince (some thousand yaer old) What's Rome? Cute One movie entertaining for kids; yet as I watch it after 20 some years- I enjoy it much more

  • yeah, I was looking him up too, it looks like the kid who played the prince died in a car wreck when he was 18. Sad...

  • Am I the only one who keeps wishing the exhibits would answer them?

  • @Revinita IDK

  • I wish I could sleep on Big Bird's lap

  • I think Bert and Same Eagle would get along very finely.

  • cause the gwb is in new jersey, ernie n it goes to ny

  • "TO NEW...JERSEY!!!" LoL

  • Gonna Be a Star sounds inspired by 'Come And Knock on Our Door' (3's Company)

  • If only George could see New Jersey nowadays. He'd probably have a heart attack

  • I love "you're gonna be a star", it's one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard

  • @miladynana

that song still makes me cry, that one and the mother one...

  • I wonder what happened to Sahu after all these years. Any idea where he is these days or what he's doing?

  • According to IMDB, he didn't do any acting after this film.

  • @viridianflare He's actually dead, unfortunately. A friend of his from college indicated this on Muppet Wiki.

  • Ernie sounds alot like Kermit the Frog

  • That's because Jim Henson puppeteered Kermit and Ernie.

  • really..i never knew that

  • @BenJabituya Who played Kermit and Ernie after Jim Henson. . . you know. . .

  • @loudrgfan That would be Steve Whitmire.

  • Cleveland, HAHA

  • i wish i could spend a night in the museum, and live in the Louvre for a year

  • Love how Ernie says he should have taken George Washington Bridge! Think of it everytime Im in New york!

  • To NEW JERSEY!!!

  • love love this movie

  • The "Washington Crossing The Delaware" painting was done by a German artist named "Emmanuel Gottlieb Leutze", who was known for doing many artworks on famous American Revolutionary events.

  • Cleveland! i live there! LOL

  • Where does today meet yesterday?

Snuffy: OOOOOOOO how about...at the Teddy Bear's Picnic?

I love snuffy so much, LMAO

  • This was my fav video as a kid... its funny to think... considering that I now live in Egypt :)

  • I used to watch this when I was little...brings back memories ^_^

  • This program aired shortly before my father passed away when I was just 6, and my mom used the "Becoming a star in the sky" to sugar-coat the concept of death to me and my little brother before we knew what death was really like. Still, this is perhaps one of my favorite scenes, especially when Big Bird holds Sahu in a comforting hug. :)

  • TO NEW----JERSEY!!!!

  • LMAO at the statue behind Big Bird and the kid when he starts singing.

  • Cleveland, of course!

  • Ernie: Take the George Washington Bridge Bert! (laughs)

Bert: I'm sorry you had to hear that, sir!

    CLASSIC!

  • they're in the courtyard of the American wing around the corner from Arms & Armor and the Egyptian wing.

  • Aww the ending is so cute when they cuddle!

  • Where does today meet yesterday or today meet tomorrow the international date line

  • I've been thinking of that answer myself. I'll bet that was Sahu's first guess ever. The demon probably said "no, that's where today meets tomorrow".

  • Or on a calendar.

  • I think I might know the answer to this riddle. It just might be the MUSEUM itself, because everything in a museum would be relics from the past.

  • SPOILER ALERT

  • "He's standing up in the boat, Bert. You're not supposed to do that in a boat, Bert."

  • i wubbb snuffy!!!!hes mi fav!!!!!!<3

  • One of mine too. I went as Big Bird for halloween once years ago, and my only regret was that I didn't have Snuffy with me.

You wanna just give Snuffy a big old hug here.

  • yay 'gonna be a star' the best song in the movie

  • This was my favorite part of the video! The best song AND the best line. Thank you so much for putting it up

  • It IS cute...The little boy is so mature for his age!

  • Closely followed by Oscar's solo. ;)

    (Yeah- huge Oscar fan here.)

  • "Why didnt he just do what everybody does..."

    "What's that?"

    Take the George Washington Bridge..."

One of the best lines in the entire movie!

  • @Werewolf84820 GO ERNIE!!!!

  • @Werewolf84820 He's standing up in the boat Bert. Your not supposed to stand in a boat.

  • "I'm sorry you had to hear that, Sir."

Bert's really lovin' him some Founding Fathers. :)

  • Maybe Bert's just a real American history buff.

  • @Marbles471 GO BERT!!!!
