The "Washington Crossing The Delaware" painting was done by a German artist named "Emmanuel Gottlieb Leutze", who was known for doing many artworks on famous American Revolutionary events.
This program aired shortly before my father passed away when I was just 6, and my mom used the "Becoming a star in the sky" to sugar-coat the concept of death to me and my little brother before we knew what death was really like. Still, this is perhaps one of my favorite scenes, especially when Big Bird holds Sahu in a comforting hug. :)
Oh my god ... Snuffy is SO high...

How long after this 1983 airing did it take for Snuffy to no longer be an imaginary friend of Big Bird's?

Big Bird: Rome wasn't built in a day
Prince (some thousand yaer old) What's Rome? Cute One movie entertaining for kids; yet as I watch it after 20 some years- I enjoy it much more
MegaNFer81 9 months ago 4
yeah, I was looking him up too, it looks like the kid who played the prince died in a car wreck when he was 18. Sad...

I wonder what happened to Sahu after all these years. Any idea where he is these days or what he's doing?
monosound81 2 years ago
According to IMDB, he didn't do any acting after this film.
viridianflare 2 years ago
@viridianflare He's actually dead, unfortunately. A friend of his from college indicated this on Muppet Wiki.

Where does today meet yesterday or today meet tomorrow the international date line
resoonder1 4 years ago
I've been thinking of that answer myself. I'll bet that was Sahu's first guess ever. The demon probably said "no, that's where today meets tomorrow".
Garrettk41 3 years ago
Or on a calendar.
DanaAbel30 2 years ago
I think I might know the answer to this riddle. It just might be the MUSEUM itself, because everything in a museum would be relics from the past.
