It's coming to Verizon and actually has an improvement and has a 3.5mm jack which the European version doesn't. Hard to say whether or not they'll change the innards though.

For a person that has had every IPhone that has been out for a pretty long time, i think the iPhone is an "ok" phone, it is not the best phone out anymore, this phone is made for people who are not too lazy to learn, just like macs, iPhones are made for the lazy people... i on the other hand, prefer a phone like this, which gives me the option to have whatever i like. with Apple is their way or the high way, they r ok, but their products are way overrated.

I started shopping for a new phone around Feb-March of this year. The first one I had tried was an HTC TouchPro. I only played with it for a few minutes in the store and fell in love with the touch flo 3d. But later on at home, getting into some of the deeper functionality, I realized touchflo 3d was just a thin layer and to do many things like even set up contacts you had to go into windows mobile which I hated. I have since tried a Samsung Delve and an iPhone (settled on the iPhone).

The Delve lacked a lot of the functionality of the touchpro but what it did do (such as setting up contacts and browsing the web) it did so A LOT easier than the windows mobile part of touch pro.

The iPhone, in my opinion, is the best out there (except for maybe the Palm Pre which I've only played around with for about 10 minutes in store).

I agree with you 100%. Sidekick has made the best 5th row keyboard....best keyboard all together. The 5 rows makes everything easier. The sidekick 3, LX, and new LX has very spacious and easy to use keyboards. Sidekick has the best qwerty keyboard of any phone....hands down.

The iphone isn't really $99, if you get it unlocked it will set you back $750-$800 and the touch pro 2 is the same price. But if you sign a contract agreement. Then it cost $99, touch pro2 will probably cost anywhere between $150-$250 depending on your US carrier.

i guess the headphone jack dosen't make that big of a deal to me. my xbox has the 2.5mm headphone jack so i can use the headset for that, and it comes in very handy if i am at my friends house or a friend is over at my house and i have an extra mic. something that is a big deal is size and the QWERTY keyboard just makes this thing too big. i wish more phones would start copying the Versa in making the keyboard this optional accessory.
