Thanks for pointing out that "I didn't design the Ducati motor or bikes they reside in". There are plenty of ill-informed Ducati haters here on YouTube, but your dumb ass deserves an award. A '74 900ss, a bike that you call a "tank" typically sells for 100k and your Katana sells for 10k. While your beloved Suzuki was certainly a unique looking bike it was never considered good handling or race worthy. I seriously doubt you've ever actually ridden a motorcycle.
hang on tight they handle like crap , you do all you can to lean them over with any kind of feedback compared to even the most simple Suzuki Katan in the late 70's
Hope you know what your doing
I owned them from the early 70's to today Newer techology will keep you safer and a super better ride, why go back and rumble down the road just to ride histories rust buckets anymore , does it really thrill your nuts ?
@barymire You've unfavorably compared the handling of a square case bevel to a flexible 400 lb Katana. You had a 50/50 chance of guessing correctly, but failed.
@jamesandrew2000 try to get the point and really focus on my words, you didnt design the Ducati motor or bikes they reside in. Its just that the older Ducs are
poky slow and very poor handling even compared to the jap bikes of the same era.
Pound per pound get off the heavy steering 1980's Ducs and see how much better and faster you will go through the (tight twisties) like where I grew up in Northern Calif , and I'll prove it that you could never keep up with me on the older Tank Ducs.
bitte herr ducati bau wieder eine sonderserie ,ganz original aber technisch verbessert z,b gleitlager auf kurbelwelle, dann gibts von mir auch ein polemuitorden.
I'm saving money to get one, but they get expensive more quick than I can save money, haha
