well im not tryin to hate........but i really hate ape hangers with a passion lol im putin clip ons on my nightster. I dunno the drag bars and clip ons just give the nightster a really clean sleek look about it

damn man thats a bad ass nightster, i fell in love with it the first day i walked into the show room. if i may say everything looks sweet as fuck but have you ever thought of powder coating the piping and even getting smaller ones? thats just my opinion sweet bike though.

i really didnt want the flashy silver crap, so i just asked the guys at my harley shop. they have the black or braided. not to mention the black are alot cheaper.

Wow... rigid struts with a factory 1200N seat... I'm surprised you can still walk, lol. I have a vivid black 1200N too, I REALLY want to do a springer seat but can't figure out what to do with the ECU and the bigass hole in the fender. I suppose rigid struts can't be much firmer than the stock rear struts they put in there, lol.

@gringoloko512 you can get a solo seat conversion on ebay. They place the ECM under seat in its own protective black case that sits right under the sprung solo seat. There is a black fender cap provided for an extra cost to cover the existing hole where the ecm was. However, personally I'd buy a new or used rear 883 Iron fender and sell the Nightster rear fender. No money loss really.

Amazing bike. Got a few questions though. Even with the rubber mounted V-Twin, how's the vibration, especially on the longer rides? Without purchasing a double seat, is there room to hook up saddle bags at the back? Do you recommend touring with it? Does the heat from the engines make it uncomfortable (that is, too hot) near your calves? In other words, aside from all the great stuff this bike can deliver, does it have any negatives? Thanks, man.

man i got this bike at the first of the year, ive rode the piss out of it and its been awesome. ive seen them with saddle bags so i guess u could do it, as for engine heat its not that big of an issue even in super hot weather. thanks for the comment
