@dalkordigo LOL, no, I can't see it. Then again, I can't look at this thing with fresh eyes anymore - I've seen it hopping around on my screen for weeks now ;P
The only issue with this program now is that many of the creatures seem to travel with very minimalist motions. A single block twitching can hurl the creature forward massive distances. Its still entertaining to see all the different types and realistically animals do evolve to use less movement in order to retain energy but it just seems like..... Cheating, to hop about on one or two twitching feet.
@BorisWatkiss Quite right. I hope I can thwart that tendency in the next version of the program. While some of these hopping creatures are interesting, it would be nice to see a greater variety of strategies.
Maybe you should try expanding on this program? Like add more challenges for the creatures, for instance. It seems there are only two. Flat ground and bumpy ground, with success being judged by distance traveled.
@45Imagamer Actually, just a few months ago I brought the old code back to life for just that purpose :)
In this video: watch?v=uVd0_7KKR4E I list a few of the things I have in mind, and ask viewers for suggestions as well. I don't get much time to work on it, but I'm slowing chipping away.
Oh, didn't see that. I took a look at it and all the ideas look very interesting. Of course, it would be a while to implement every last one of them, but that would make the game that much better.
Always nice to see the latest creation. I gave up on making cool things.

@snowlionud Thanks! :)
You gave up on making cool things with this specific program, or in general? (I hope it's not the latter)
